WE DID IT... We made it though this ridiculous year!

Happy New Year's Eve :)

I am working today, and we are not doing anything fun tonight, so it's just a typical day over here... but I will be happy for the 3 day weekend!

QOTD: What was your most memorable New Year's Eve? About 15ish years ago I got to go to Times Square! A good friend worked in a building right across the street from the ball and we got to go to a party at her office and watch the whole thing with the windows open. We had an amazing time--we got to be part of the whole experience, but we were also inside so we were warm and had plenty of alcohol. Loved it!

Nailed it with food accountability, again. I ended the day just under 600 calories! Exercise is still not where it should be, but I did a slow mile jog on a steep incline yesterday. Not sure why I am being so willful about avoiding exercise, but I am really struggling to motivate, and I find myself making too many excuses...

Good morning all! I am definitely looking forward to the three day weekend although I'm sure it will fly by! Accountability was good yesterday up until last night when those cravings kicked in. Today will be better!

QOTD: ummm probably 2014. I normally stay home for NYE, but that particular year I went on a first date. It was nothing special...just met at Starbucks for coffee, conversation and a card game. Then we ended up going to the Chinese restaurant next door for dinner. Had a lot of laughs that night. Ended the night with him walking me to my car and a kiss. It was fun. Since then I've done my usual....stay home in front of the tv. Lol

B: coffee w/Splenda x 2

B2: Fit frappe

L: 2 oz chicken breast & a laughing cow cheese wedge

I am envious of your being able to stay on plan. I kind of haven't had one after about 4 pm every day.

We just have to make it through the day to get to 2021. Today is the anniversary of the day DH left the hospital on hospice and returned to his long-term care facility. He had left 12 days earlier by ambulance sitting up and smiling at the EMTs but he returned essentially comatose for his last few days.

I am looking forward to Florida. I did make it clear to Mike that I might not come to see him for a couple of days and he seemed fine with that. Though he did say something about how we could plan January and February when I got there. I had to laugh and remind him that generally I don't plan ahead that far and especially not right now in Covid times.

QOTD: The year we bought our Cape Cod home (2009) we invited two couples from home to stay with us and went to a local restaurant for a party with dinner and dancing. It was fun to get dressed up and stay up past midnight. I don't think I have seen midnight on NYE since then.

Good morning!

QOTD - NYE, 2013. It was the first time Clint and I spent NYE together, and my daughters were all there. My oldest daughter shot a bottle rocket, and it landed right on his classic BMW (which he no longer has). She just looked at him, and said "you have insurance right?" It was hilarious, and it broke the ice between them (because it was weird...) and we haven't ever forgotten it. Now here we are on our 8th NYE together, and I can't imagine a better partner to spend it with. I wish I had my girls with me, but next year. We do have his kids this year, and for that I am grateful!

Breakfast - I am fasting, but trying something new. I am trying to have hot lemon water as the first thing I take in to my system in the morning. So ho****er, juice of one lemon, then black coffee and water.

Lunch - No idea. I am thinking fruit smoothie because it's easy.

Snack - cosmic crisp apple, peanut butter, crackers with vegan cheese and tofurkey ham

Snack - pepitas with dried fruit

Dinner - Whatever the kids decide we are having. I am leaning towards something easy!

I wish you all a truly happy, blessed New Year!

Car. 1990 E30 325i. He had BBS wheels on it that we traveled to Dallas for. He had put a lot of love into it, until it became clear that it was a younger man's car and simply needed a younger man's attention. Cool thing tho, he recently saw it and got to touch base with the guy who bought it and its in good hands! He's a Harley dude now. :)

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Goodbye 2020. I am done with it. It could have been a lot worse but I am truly done.

I am also at work today. I think I get to leave around noon in time to get dinner ready. I'll have 10 in the house tonight. They are all people I have been around since the beginning so I am not anxious about having 10 for dinner. I have a new game called Throw Throw Burrito I have to look up how to play it. Since one of my guest is 12 I am sure we need to play some kind of fun game. Also the new belt for my treadmill should arrive today so tomorrow morning I should be able to get back to exercise. I am not going to let me get down about 2 days off exercise. I am just going to enjoy the time off, enjoy my guest and jump back on the bandwagon tomorrow and hit it hard Saturday and Sunday and hopefully the scale will not be too bad on Monday. I don't like the scale today but it could b expected with no exercise 2 days in a row.

QOTD: I Only remember I was probably 16 and we were at a house party. I always hung around my older Brother and he is 5 years older than I am. So they were in there 20's and there were about 20 of us. We had a luxurious Surf and turf dinner played games and had ****tail. The first guest went to leave and we did not realize there was a freezing rain storm happening outside. They tried to leave but when they hit the driveway they slid down the hill (not in the car like a unplanned Sled ride) We were all stuck and could not leave so we all just went back inside and drank till morning.

Accountability: Oh Chocolate was the culprit last night. Chocolate covered banana from Aldi. Reese's Santa and Lily's salted caramel chocolate bar.

TSS: 3 years 0 Months and 20 day 132.4 (Lowest 129.4)

MS: Premier Apple cinnamon oats Protein shake and berries

L:Grilled cheeseburger and coleslaw.

D: Kielbasa and sauerkraut, cheese grits, pea salad Maybe a piece of coconut poke cake.

Exercise: Not today.

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been great. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Everybody have a Great New Years Eve. .

Brightest Blessing
