Don't worry about the food going bad!!!! I throw it in the trash and cover it with salt or down the garbage disposal. Out of sight out of mind. Just cause its there does not mean you have to eat it. Go to an old post when you were on track and grab the menu from there and refresh. You can do this you have done it before. Big hugs. This too shall pass. Don't stop posting we got your back!!!!!

Mornin'! (or Afternoon to those of you in the Eastern time zone!)

I got up late this morning and wasted a lot of time - then did a 45-minute Zoom strength-training class, so I'm a bit late (ha! very late!) posting this morning..

nothing on the agenda today other than to get some cat food and return a library book before a storm hits later this afternoon. I suspect we'll be stuck in our house until Thursday morning. Well, we'd kind of be stuck in here regardless even if they weren't calling for a storm, thanks to COVID. Oh well...

accountability sucked yesterday. We had MIL over for Christmas leftovers, so I had lasagna, caesar salad, wine, and cheesecake for dinner. I didn't make a pig of myself, but still, calories were way over. Given that the last week I've either been at the high end of my calorie range...or slightly over...and then had a disastrous Christmas, this isn't good. There's hardly any lasagna left, so I'll leave it for DH to finish off. There's about 1/4 of a cheesecake left. I can usually work a small slice into my calorie range, but I'm going to completely lay off it for the next couple of days just to get myself back in line. Otherwise I'm afraid I'll start heading down a path that I don't want to go down..

QOTD: nothing on NYE (but then, we haven't done anything on NYE in years, so this is nothing new). In the past, we've headed to a friend's for brunch on NY day morning. It's always the same crowd there, and we've done it for years. BUT...the host moved to Minnesota last summer, so no brunch this year. Or ever again. The "New Years Gang" will probably be "meeting" on Zoom this year, though - just so we can spend time together again. thank God it'll be sans food. To be honest, in at least one way it's helped having a pandemic this year during the holiday season. No holiday get-togethers has really helped with the usual struggle I go through to make it through with little or no weight gain. The only challenging days, really, were Thanksgiving and Christmas. In normal years, there are those two plus a half dozen others due to the holiday parties and luncheons and whatever.

TSS: 5y6m

B: plain Greek yogurt with cranberry/cherry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: Fit Frappe

L: piece of cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with strawberry compote

AS: 1/2 an Aldi's egg & cheese pita (found these yesterday - 170 calories in 1/2 a pita (that's the perfect size for a snack). They also had sausage and cheese ones, but those were 250 calories in a 1/2 one - so that's more meal-size)

D: turkey breast slices, small sweet potato

ex: strength training (done!), will do a cardio Zoom class this evening - either cardio dance or kickboxing

have a great day, everyone!

Good morning and happy Tuesday! Yesterday was a difficult day. It rained all day which would be fine with me, but it was not good for the puppy. I spent my day trying to dry off a wet dog. It never broke 50 degrees and he was thrilled to be outside. It's not raining today and he's out with the trainer. I'm hoping he comes back exhausted.

QOTD: Absolutely nothing. LA County is back under a lockdown order, and many of the restaurants are closing early. I'm working so . . . My plan is to make my mother a nice dinner and watch movies. I'm actually interested in seeing how NYC handles the ball drop without throngs on people in Times Square. I have a 60 min spin class on 1/1.

My plan:

B: fairlife latte

L: leftover chicken gyro meat with a side greek salad

D: No idea

E: Tuesday is typically my day off, but one of the instructors is filming his on demand class, so I may spin at "lunch"

S: pear
