What's on your Tuesday Menu?
I have a sliding screen on my Florida garage too. Justice loves to lie on a mat in the sun out there and it allows me to leave the door from the garage into my place open so I have better airflow. I only use AC when it is really hot/humid.

Good morning!
Beautiful cookies! I know if I tried to make those, they would turn out like that show that shows the epic fails on trying to copy. They'd be a hot mess. Yesterday, my neighbor brought over their annual bag of homemade Almond Roca. This stuff is amazing and I almost didn't let it in the house. I'm not sure I can control myself! I'd say they gave us 8-10 ounces of the stuff. Last night, I made a cup of my "fake" coffee, zero calorie, and then measured my self a one ounce portion of the toffee. Added it to my MFP tracker, and then started nibbling. Made myself leave it in the kitchen, to slow me down. I was scared to death of dumping (never have) and of wolfing down my one piece portion and then being sad. O.M.G. as good as ever, but I'm proud of myself that I did not eat my whole portion. Saving it for later. But if I ever get a terminal diagnosis, I am having them make me a platter of that crack and eating myself into a coma. Just saying. Between that and a high sodium dinner and needing snacks yesterday, I am up 1.5 lbs today. Not a bit distressed that I am up, but pissed that it's on a Tuesday which is the day I have to actually log in my weight. Dang it.
QOTD: oh please. Country Fried steak and eggs with sausage gravy and hash browns. When I was trying to be good, I would only order when my daughter was with us, and we always split it. But I clearly was not always good, hence the surgery. However, this breakfast was a part of my pre surgery food funeral week.
Menu:
B: chicken breast, 1/4 C cottage cheese
L: leftovers. 2.5 oz hamburger patty, 1 oz English cheddar, either roasted carrots/potatoes or a few chicarones.
D: tri tip tacos (hold the tortilla for me), refried beans, cheese, shredded cabbage, crema
S: possibly the rest of my piece of toffee?
Peace Everyone!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
I see why you won the contest looks like you have put a lot of time and effort into those cookies. I only make cookies and fudge that are Peanut butter and chocolate. So mine are just brown definitely not as pretty as yours. But they are yummy.
They are getting passed out today so I have very little around the House.
Good news insurance finally approved my husband for his back stimulation devise to see if it will relive his pain. He will start his trial on January 15. If it helps they will schedule to implant it for permanent. I am hoping he finds relief because I think this is his last option. I hate seeing him in pain all the time.
QOTD: OK I am going with the Country Fried steak meal from Cracker Barrell. I would never eat it as a post op but damn that was a reason I needed the surgery. However if I was Canadian I would eat Peameal bacon and over easy eggs till I busted. I love it and it is protein.
Accountability: OK I had some fudge when putting together my cookie boxes so I skipped dinner and just had some turkey cheese roll ups as I watched the Steeles loose another game. Come on Hockey!!!!
Accountability: I did eat one cookie while baking and many licks of the beaters had happened and I never hit my water goals all weekend so I will definitely get it in today.

oh JB those look professional !!! really freaking good! wow you shuld sell them on the side !!!
Im late logging today cause im all vaxxed up officially... yay and boo. I was hesitant to take it but at the same time thought I wouldn't have an opportunity until summer with the distribution so I went for it. it didn't take long and hurt way less than the flu shot does. they made us sit around for 5-10 min to make sure after. hopefully I can make it all day without getting too tired and won't have side effects.
weight slightly down but still 2 pounds from newest low so maybe I need to lay off the swerve cookies. I made a box two days ago and keep eating them which gives me extra gas... moral of the story... cookies... sheesh.. maybe if I just eat the last 3 I won't make them again
food plan- im in the 'office' today so had to bring lots of food with me
b: coffee with premier
gilbert chicken sausage with joseph pita
b2: apple and egg whites
l: veggies and last of chicken
s: pomegranate seeds and more egg whites?
d: unknown

QOTD: I love eggs and bacon and toast and protein pancakes and protein waffles and protein French toast.
I also like overnight oats but can usually only do 1/2 serving due to carb.
Morning! I'm on winter break! No work unless I want to until January 4th. I'm finishing up baking today. I had weird dreams all night, so maybe a nap too.
QOTD: It's what I eat every day - but this has gone in cycles since I had WLS. I eat it at brunch/lunch time but I roast diced sweet potatoes with cinnamon, cumin, and cayenne. I then throw some in a frying pan and crack two eggs over it and scramble it around. I top it with flaky salt and sour cream. I also love avocado toast topped with a fried egg. Oh and also mashed sweet potato topped with a fried egg!
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x3
- Eggs, Sweet Potato, Bacon, Sour Cream
- TBD, but I may make Zuppa Toscano soup

QOTD- Belgian Waffle with Strawberries on the side and no whipped cream. Or pancakes or french toast. I also loved hash browns but haven't had any in years even pre-op.
So far today I've had to talk on Teams with camera to my boss twice today. But I did get him to approve one of my jobs. So at least that one is out of my hair, but still many more jobs to go. I need to get my butt in gear.
I've been watching The Boys on Amazon Prime, it's kind of disgusting the super heroes aren't even nice but it is escapism for me. I also caved and now have HBO Max, since there are no theaters open in my area I can at least see the new movies. Our governor just extended the covid restrictions until March. I so much want my life back. I think I'm in group 1c for the vaccines so it will be sometime next year before I can get one.
It was raining like crazy last night, so no star or planet gazing for me. It may be clear tonight so I will try to get a peak.
Have a great day everyone!
