HELLO... IM TOTALLY supportive but can we PLEASE see some hot bikini/draws competition pics ?!
You KNOW you inspire so many of us
When I was about 12, my aunt and her daughter took me to a wedding reception. It was in a home of a state senator and definitely the most beautiful house I had ever seen. I remember beautiful furniture and the rooms were full of big elegant floral arrangements.
Waiters walked around with trays of food and drinks. There was a dinner with china, silverware, and crystal. The tables had candles and elegant flower arrangements. Everything looked so perfect.
On the way home, my aunt asked my cousin, "Well did you see it?" I wondered what they had seen. My cousin said, "Yes, behind that bathtub". They had spent their time there trying to find a spot in the house where it was not perfectly clean. And someone had left dust on the wood molding behind the big clawfoot tub.
My aunt had come from Ireland when her cousins paid her fare. Then she had to work as a maid for them for two years to pay back her passage. She was extremely obsessed with being clean. She would keep her kids home from school so they could scrub floors. I felt sorry for them. My mother would tell me to read a book and not worry about cleaning walls. She said if I had an education and a good job, I could always hire someone to clean for me.
I love when the house is clean and organized, but don't love the everyday part like wiping toothpaste spots from the mirrors and cleaning the litterbox. I think it is fun to organize things. The best thing I have bought in years is my robot sweeper. Even when the house looks perfectly clean, it runs around and delivers a load of dust and cat hair every time.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
QOTD: I laughed hard at the crime scene comment. I am both clean and messy.... I am not one that has to clean everything immediately when I am done.... but I will get to it. When my son was growing up he knew the drill.... we could never be more than 20 minutes from presentable if someone was stopping by.
I did my first food prep in my new kitchen last night. I felt like a fish out of water.... not having a grasp on where everything was and the work space. It's been 6-7 weeks since I have been able to do one, so it felt good. My knee paid for it a little and I am back in an ace bandage.
Food:
- Protein coffee, toast
- Greek yogurt, protein muffin
- chicken salad in salad
- Dinner tbd
-S: more protein, rice cakes, apple
Ex: one hour yoga class

Mornin' All!
my car was towed off to the Honda place this morning (dead starter), and I have to meet the Spectrum guy at my mom's this afternoon. I was over there for three hours on Friday and three hours yesterday (half of yesterday on the phone with Spectrum), and it turns out it's something with her router, which of course, is their issue, not mine. Whew. I also might go to the grocery store today to get the rest of the stuff for Christmas dinner, since the place will get more and more crowded the later in the week I wait. Otherwise, pretty dull day today..
QOTD: Oh I'm definitely the messy one. DH is a neatnik. It was quite an adjustment the first few months (or more..) that we lived together. We eventually met somewhere in the middle. He's now more tolerant of clutter (although NOT dirt - he still freaks out if there's a dirty dish in the sink, or crumbs on the kitchen floor, or an oil spill (from a car) on the garage floor, for example), and I've become much better about putting things away. But the weird thing is, I always know where everything is, and he is always losing things. I think it might be because he often puts things away just to get them out of his sight, and it's not always in the object's "home", and then he can't remember where he put it. It drives me insane.

Happy Monday. I'm so glad it's a short week. I'm crazy tired. This weekend was uneventful. I almost got kicked out of bakery for threatening a woman with bodily harm if she didn't get her mask up over her nose and back the hell away from me. The bakery has makings on the floor where they want you to stand for a reason. You don't have to stand in front of the bobka to tell them you want one and then move in front of the walnut roll to tell them you want that. You can stand in the circle and let them know what you want. I spent 5 minutes bobbing and weaving to avoid her and her husband, but lost my damned mind when I felt her breath on my neck. I won't repeat what I said to her.
QOTD: I have my mom with me, and I'm the neater of the two of us. I could be better though.
My plan:
B: fairlife latte and egg bite from costco. Different from my normal bites. These are 70 cal for 1 and I threw out the box so not sure of the other stats.
L: Chicken Thigh meat
D: no idea
S: pear before spin
E: Parking Lot spin
