I am the FILTHY one. If a guy has no full time housekeeper he's OUT of contention.

I mean I LOVE an ex-marine who organizes folded socks by color in his draws ... but that's a HOT TREAT ... not something to expect every day in real life .

Guys in my experience TOTALLY complain about EVERYTHING like cleaning, doing laundry , washing vacuuming and keeping the car maintained ...

MY experience is a guy ( otherwise and loving, faithful and well earning ) who drops his ****stained draws Wherever just cuz he CAN.

This guy was a to-be imminent CEO of a major bank and I made a huge mistake leaving him 20 years ago ... MEBBE .

Then mebbe it was a statement of self-respect .

I made 4 meetings of twelve step economic related groups yesterday .

I cleaned the apartment the entire time ... and drove and bought two eight foot tables to start the project .

About 9 months overdue ... ok ... im SCARED ..read TERRIFIED

but I'm not only gonna get THRU this ...I'm gonna WIN it ... you watch

Food today - dreaming about chicken marsala but too lazy 2 make it

B cold brewed coffee and 99 bananas

L and D - what I need to Survive ... no indulging in cooking as a distraction.

I HOPE to come back 2 U tomorrow FINALLY with some RESULTS .

Not much on the agenda today other than a possible beach walk with Justice this afternoon. I went to the local winery with friends yesterday to catch up. Really neat how they have been able to keep up having outside tables with heaters (at least when it is mid-30s or higher in temperature).

Today is the one year anniversary of DH entering hospice. It was the right decision but boy was it difficult.

QOTD: I used to be so messy when I was a kid. Then I got so I hated visible clutter and kept everything neat except in closets and drawers. Now I need it all neat and clean! Much more than most other than my SIL who puts me to shame. DS and DD are much messier as was DH. And Mike is in another whole league - He just sort of leaves things lying around and doesn't think too much about cleaning. He is trying to improve because he knows it bugs me.

TSS: 4 years, 8.5 months

B: Coffee!!! eggs and light toast

L: tunafish and cottage cheese

D: shrimp maybe with veggies

S: strawberry cheesecake yogurt pie and/or nut thins with cottage cheese and/or air fried carrot chips (new low point snack I still haven't made yet though I have the stuff to do so)

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Monday really that went way to fast. I spent the weekend baking and tonight I will put together cookie boxes to pass out to co-workers and family. I want to get it out of the house as soon as possible. It will be a short but busy week here at work. I still have not received Christmas cards or Logo gifts for my customers so as soon as they are delivered to my office I am going to have to hurry to try to get them out the door so my customers receive them before Christmas. But honestly the way Fed-ex has been lately I do not see anyone getting there gifts before Christmas at this point.

The weekends was nice I did get one run in on Saturday but honestly it has been wet and cold and it makes me nervous to run outside. I really do not want to hit an icy patch and go down so I been subbing out for the treadmill. It is getting better though at first when I had to do it I hated the treadmill now I am getting used to it and I am almost to the point I am getting in the same amount of miles in the same amount of time on the treadmill as I do on a road run so that is making me happier about using it.

QOTD: I am the Clean one. My husband has so much clutter it drive me crazy. He is not dirty his stuff is clean just not perfectly organized like I like it.

Accountability: I did eat one cookie while baking and many licks of the beaters had happened and I never hit my water goals all weekend so I will definitely get it in today.

TSS: 3 years 0 Months and 10 day 132.4 (Lowest 129.4)

MS: Premier Apple cinnamon oats Protein shake and berries

L: Eggwhich and small amount of left over cheese chicken bake.

D: Probably leftover chicken bake or grilled chicken.

Exercise: 40 minutes of Treadmill.

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been great. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Everybody have a Great Week.

Brightest Blessing

Chrissy

I rented a treadmill in th Manhattan apartment a ( guy working for a first class bank who I was MUCH smarter than wh achieved the education and position because he got lifetime support I DID NOT ) gave m 4 about a year .

Would you like to know what my motivation was to walk/run ? I literally pretended I was a high priced hooker who'd have to give sex if she wasn't pretty enuf to jes sit there and b lusted after .

I look at this now and say ..HEY. I HEAR YA... mebbe I can kind of luv ya... I feel SO SORRY for the girl I was then who I myself inexplicably adamantly refused 2 support .

Good morning!

I had a productive weekend, albeit with no exercise. But I happily crossed off almost everything on my to do list. Two little drawers remain untouched. I just could not get my butt in gear to get them started. But I finished the little project for my grandkids, all their presents are wrapped, the fridge and freezer are both stuffed to the gills and organized. I made us eat leftovers all weekend to clean out the fridge for this week. My husband ate left overs for all three meals yesterday. Sure made dish duty easy though. Today is all about work!

QOTD: I am neat as a pin. Everything has a place and everything is in it's place. Or, I am a neurotic mess. The hubs is meticulous. So between us, the house is spotless all the time. He vacuums 3-4 times a week, dusts every couple days, always is on top of the laundry and does the dishes constantly. I cook, organize, and think of things to leave on a to do list for him. I wonder how much he will push back on me when I actually retire. Part of our retirement bargain for him was he take on the house, and I have to admit, he's the best housekeeper I've ever had.

Speaking of retirement....I have TWO Mondays, including today, left in my work career. Starting Jan. 4, I am on a 4 day schedule. Woo hoo!

Menu:

B: chicken breast and 1/4 C cottage cheese

L: 2.5 oz hamburger patty, 1 oz English cheddar (Somehow I ended up with several days leftovers of this and so it's a theme this week) 1/4 roasted carrots and potatoes

D: Chicken broccoli stir fry with cauliflower "fried" rice

Peace Everyone!

Wow! I need a guy like that! My DH was good at cleaning bathrooms but that was about it. He was a great cook, though. When he had to retire due to Alzheimer's, I thought that he could take over housekeeping for at least a while but he was already too disorganized mentally to handle it. And he had to stop cooking about 2 years after that.

I spent 40 years training him up, Liz. I wish I could share him. He's a terrible (and I mean AWFUL!) cook if that helps. It has been nice not to worry about housework for the last three years. I often wonder why he doesn't murder me in my sleep after some of the lists I leave him.

You are a lucky woman. My new boyfriend is more or less a slob and can only grill steak or plain chicken. But he is trying to make adjustments which I appreciate though who knows if they will last?

Good morning, everybody!

I guess these are the kinds of weeks when I'm actually glad it's Monday because it means one day closer to vacation. At least I'm trying to tell myself that. I am cautiously optimistic that this will be a fairly easy week at work.

The weightlifting meet on Saturday was fun. It wasn't a sanctioned meet, but was run in an official manner with weigh-in, timing, order, etc. I ended up with 121 snatch and 165 clean and jerk (286 total). I missed on 124 snatch and 176 clean and Jerk. More quickness and flexibility would make me a lot better, but I'm learning.

QOTD: I am an oversized child and Marilyn takes care of me.

Picture is new Squishmallow. We actually just picked it up for DD.Breakfast: protein bar

Lunch: Hot Dog

snack: nuts

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!
