Good Morning!

I have no idea why I'm awake this early.. I don't work till Mid morning today. I woke up to dog paws pressing into my back.. interesting as she rarely sleeps in the bed.

QOTD: as someone else posted.. I'm both messy and clean depending on the room! My 'main level' is always spotless.. but I am embarrassed how messy my room becomes. I clean where people can see.. otherwise I don't care.

B: 1/2 English muffin, 1 egg, 1 slice turkey bacon

S: 1c decaf, 1c fairlife, 1/2tbsp mocha & peppermint sf syrup

L: Chicken Chili

S: 1.5oz chicken breast, 1/2 serving cracker

D: 1.5oz chicken breast, 1/4c steamed broccoli

S: TBD

Morning! I over did it this weekend and I'm paying for it with major soreness on my right side (not the newly operated hip). It's really not happy with me for having to do so much work this weekend. I made 8 dozen Buckeye Balls, 6 dozen mint Oreo truffles, 6 dozen Golden Oreo truffles, and two batches of Christmas Crack. I still have 6 dozen plain Oreo truffles, Haystacks, and candied pecans to make at some point this week. But, today I need to be mostly sitting down and probably icing. Note: 98% of what I make will go out my door in the form of treat boxes to friends and I'll also send my brother home with some for himself and my sister.

QOTD: I'm the clean one x 1000. My mother was very clean/tidy when I was growing up. I found it highly annoying and mostly only complied because she made me. I didn't get on the clean band wagon until my kids were school age. I think before that it was just too overwhelming. Cleaning is my anxiety release and I just love having a clean house. Being unable to do my normal cleaning has also made me crazy.

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream x3
  • Eggs, Sweet Potato, Bacon
  • TBD, I think may we have a dinner of popcorn or something pulled from the pantry/freezer. We are supposed to watch a Christmas movie and I literally can not stay up late enough at night to do it post dinner. Although I did stay up until 10pm playing board games last night which is pretty big for me.

Good morning all! Just gotta make it through 3 days of work and I'll have 6 days off. I keep reminding myself of that. Weekend went by way too fast, but it was productive. I got a lot accomplished and I'm so glad I finally got my Christmas gifts wrapped instead of waiting until the very last second line I normally do! Accountability was a whole lot better yesterday even though I did eat one cookie my mom made when I went by her house yesterday. She practically held me hostage until I tried one. Lol Other than that I was on plan for the most part.

QOTD: I'd say I'm more disorganized than anything else. I have my messy moments, but I love everything being clean and tidy. I cannot stand for there to be even one dirty dish in my sink. However, when it comes to my closet.....soooo disorganized! I literally don't know where anything is and it's always a game of hide and seek when looking for things. Lol. My goal is to get better at this and become more organized. Haha. I have my moments where I will get tired of it and organize everything, but then it eventually goes right back to being one big disorganized mess! So it never lasts long. Lol

Ha we are exact opposites. I will let dishes pile up, but open any drawer or closet and I am super organized. It's a shame that all my good work happens behind closed doors!

Something that can be a game changer for closet organization is the hooks where you hang five items in the space of one. The clothes end up staying exactly where you put them. And by organizing each with five similar things, you can easily see all of them and remove one thing without disturbing the others.

hi all

Saturday I did some last min shopping. then sunday I woke to get ready to get the vaxx. was all dressed and ran upstairs to find out where to go at hospital and realized they only have the clinic from 6 am-10 am , and it was 10:15. and I was 2 hours away. sooo now I will drive up one day this week, probably Wednesday and get it done. so DH and I went out, ran errands, I got a starbucks and we drove a bit. came back and made swerve cookies and ate 3 which gave me extra gas... but they were pretty good.

QOTD: im a tornado but I like organization/ DH is a clean freak -my sister calls me a messie bessie

accountability: last two days have not been great- weight up 1.5 pounds

Very exciting that you're on the vaccination list! Although there seems to be some general confusion with distribution, I'm glad to see it getting to get out and several of my friends/family that are health care workers have already received it. I feel like I'll be able to take a deeper breath when they get the second shot.

Happy Monday! It'll be a busy week for me too. I went to work for a few hours Saturday to get ahead start for today. I brought Em with me and she got my little office gifts organized and tagged for me. Aside from that, we didn't have much planned.

Accountability:It wasn't horrible. Mild snacking but not off the rails.

QOTD: The clean one for sure. Apparently, I see things they don't (according to John and Em).

B: Sf latte, Jimmy Dean scramble and apple slices

L: Grilled pork loin, salad, and a pear

S: Carbmaster cottage cheese, a plum and a turkey stick

Good morning, Happy Monday! Super glad it's a relatively short work week.

QOTD - I am both, I think? There's certain things I am fastidious about, like dishes. I don't leave dishes to soak, overnight, etc. They just have to get done, because for the most part it's easier than having to face them in the morning. Other things like clean laundry, it can pile up. Clint is a great folder thankfully. It's a give and take hahaha!

Breakfast - fasting, so emtea, hot black coffee and water

Lunch - Papas guisada (homemade) with vegan cheese on tortillas (TACOS!)

Snack - apple with peanut butter, pepitas with dried fruit

Snack - fruit smoothie

Dinner - leftover stroganoff with pasta, veggie of some sort, crusty bread with avocado butter.

I am so excited, I found vegan tamales for Christmas Eve! Clint just stared at me when I read out loud "Ooooh, mild red tofu"... I'm still jazzed!
