What's on your Saturday menu?

I love that dinnerware. It would make me smile.

We had an early birthday /Hannukah / Christmas dinner at the dining room table with a Christmas table cloth , second set of ( fancier , but not the fanciest ) china, the " good " cutlery and candles.

Afterwards we sat around looking at the tree and the kittens and listening to classical Christmas music for an hour or so.

It made for a nice celebration rather than watching CNN repeat itself for an hour and a half ( the usual nightly torture Mom insists on )

Now I don't know if I'm really going to leave before Christmas as planned - I have a buyer for a kitten here mid-week ( and one in NY YIKES! ) so who knows ... we may well repeat the experience lol.

Its really very nice to have a tree, the little gingerbread village , the embroidered Christmas tablecloths set up ... its HOMEY and SPECIAL .

I might even bake some ( fat free and low sugar ) cookies just because I CAN ... and cuz I know tasting a couple won't make me fat ( Thank God ) ...
