What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
We got 2 inches of slush then maybe another inch of fluffy stuff last night. It is pretty but Justice absolutely won't walk on the white stuff. I had to turn the leaves over with the shovel so he would go outside!
My tree is finally decorated. It is a 5 year old prelit tree and more than half the tree didn't light. By the time I got here from Florida there weren't any regular lights available at stores. My SIL gave me 1 string and I scored 3 more at Walmart that the guy had just put on the shelf. So my depressing tree is much cheerier now. Still sad to decorate because DH used to put all the ornaments on once the kids grew up (I did the garland). So this is the second year I did the whole thing alone. This afternoon I am putting the crèche out. They are large Lenox pieces that DH had given me over many years so DS and I figured out a good space for it (it takes a fair amount of room). Then I am done decorating.
QOTD: Thats a tough one. Maybe Tinkerbell?

I saw on tik tok a guy buts down a sheet of plywood before it snows so when it is time for the dog who hates the snow to go out he lifts it up and has a grass area for him. Maybe you could do something like this next time.

QOTD- Baby Yoda, one of Anne McCaffreys' Dragons or Fire Lizards, a Companion from Mercedes Lackey the Valdemar series. I think I see a theme here all animals.
Another fun day, I started with a headache. Not sure if i****ing my head on the lawn mower when I was checking the air pressure in my tires or just sinus or what. My low pressure light keeps coming on, I've checked the pressure on all my tires and added air but it still isn't going out. So I was bending over to check the passenger side tire and forgot my lawn mower handle was so close, so I banged my head and have a lump on my forehead. What a clutz!
Too much work, and it's hard to focus when your head is pounding.
The company I work for finally got direct deposit, so my check is in my account! That is the best thing that has happened in a while. My last 2 paychecks were late, one 8 days and the other 1 day. The USPS has been having issues, I'm hoping the new administration gets a new postmaster general and can restore some of the cuts made.
Have a great Friday everyone!

My New Years Resolution - MORE MUNNY, MORE PERFORMING WORK ,and DELEGATE THE GOSH DARNED CLEANING !!!!!
sorry about your head - ouch! And I agree about USPS. I hope Biden replaces DeJoy right away! I'm waiting for a check from my cousin - she mailed it (from DC) last Thursday - so assuming it may not have gone out until Friday morning (if she mailed it late in the day on Thursday), it's been a week. Hopefully it'll come tomorrow. I know things often take an extra day or two this time of year, but this is way later than usual... And kudos to your company for finally joining the 21st century! (i.e., by offering direct deposit!)
