What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Happy Friday, Gang! Today is the day I have been waiting for for months at work--it's the first day of our crazy meeting season. I have budget meetings for a different school every hour on the hour from 8am to 5pm with no break today. I don't even know when I am supposed to pee, let alone eat, haha. But I am weirdly excited! I was trying to explain to my assistant why this is the best time of the year, but she seemed skeptical, and her only question was how comp time works, lol. I guess not everyone shares my excitement about budgets.
The storm made for a pretty day! We had less than 18" after all. Maybe 12" total? The snow was heavier and wetter than expected, so totals were less. God bless my wonderful Grim for doing all of the shoveling and snow-blowing for us, while I stayed here, drinking coffee on zoom calls all day :)
Ahhh...Remember summer BBQs?
QOTD: What fictional character do you wish really existed? I have so many (**wave****o the Gilmore Girls cast!**), but at the top of my list... every time I rewatch the West Wing I wish that president really existed! He always said and did the right thing and actually made me feel good about being an American... sigh. Also, Santa would be cool!
I can't put together a menu today... too much to even contemplate right now... Breakfast will be my usual egg white, goat cheese & basil omelette & Fit Frappe Coffee. No idea what lunch will look like--I have a bunch of leftovers I can pull out and eat if I get a sec. I might do the same for dinner, but I am also contemplating doing take out from my favorite taco place! It's all TBD but I will figure it out. Oh and accountability was good with food but terrible with movement again yesterday. It's a trend that I expect to continue during the next few months, but I'll work on getting creative with finding time to move again.
Happy Friday all! So glad this week is finally coming to an end! My accountability was much better yesterday! Hoping today will be the same if not better. Though my weight has been all over the place and cravings have ramped up which can only mean one thing. Ugh!
QOTD: Oh my, so many!! I'm gonna go with Santa too though! Lol. I have been disappointed he wasn't real ever since I was a child and found out that not only does Santa have the same wrapping paper, but also the same handwriting as my mother! Lol. And she had an unmistakeable one of a kind handwriting!

Good morning everyone! I hope that you're all doing ok.
I just have to go to the post office today. I made a mistake with an order so it's going out a little late. Fortunately the client is very VERY understanding! Hopefully it'll get there before Christmas but with usps we'll see...I doubt it. I have a package that was shipped on December 1st and it is still out there. It was/is important for a Christmas gift. Grr. The way the usps is ran is just ridiculous. The mail people tend to be great but the other pfft.
My depression medication was doubled and it's already making a slight difference. I'll take it. My pain is unbearable at times and I'm barely hanging on.
qotd: I'm with you on Josiah Bartlet (if I remember that right.). I loved that show! Alan Sorkin is a hell of a writer! That's all I can think of right now!
food was better yesterday...not great but better.

When you are mailing boxes, unless you are using flat rate priority for something heavy, UPS or FedEx are usually cheaper.
You can pull up a shipping calculator for all three online and compare. I just mailed a box FedEx this week- it was great, printed the shipping label at home and dropped off at local Walgreens. No standing in line at Christmas.
