I must be an elf! Hahahaha me and my grandpa loved candy canes. Granted I don't get them often but I like the peppermint ones. ESP the softer small candy cane sticks. I used to get a 5 lb candy cane log for my grandpa and get him a small hammer.
I bought my nieces and nephew some interesting ones. Ketchup, macaroni & cheese and pizza flavored. Each of their favorite foods. Will I try it? Why I have to try a piece just to say I did.

QOTD- Christmas in general, also I hate Christmas Music we have a station here that starts playing all Xmas all the time on November 1. I'm not a Christmas movie fan, I am tired of being bombarded by the images of what a perfect holiday should be. I'm generally alone, I usually exchange gifts with my Mom, I'm not even sure we will get together this year due to covid. All the images and messages make me feel bad, I'm not in a relationship, I don't have the perfect family, they make me feel like I am lacking. So I tend to no****ch any Xmas stuff, except the original Grinch. I also hate snow, we don't get it that often, but occasionally we get a lot like 24" that stuck around for about 3 weeks but that is a rarity. More worrying are ice storms.
Another dark and rainy day, I'm hoping my sump pump is working- too scared to check, but I suppose I need to I really don't want to go down in the crawl space.
We have a work group meeting at 10, probably get chewed for the things we aren't getting done. It's hard to do it all, too much work and not enough time.
Have a great day everyone!

HI everyone! I haven't been on in AGES. But I'm trying to get back on. This group helps so much with accountability and mine has been awful lately.
I'll do a little reintroduction: I'm Kari. I live in Ga although I grew up in the Navy so I have lived quite a few places. I have 2 kids. Kali is 22 (Graduated college in May with a BS in Chemistry) and Thomas who is 18 (graduated high school in May and just wrapped up his first semester of college) I am 3 years post op and am scheduled for plastic surgery January 19th. I was scheduled 11/17 but my dear son came home in November to work on a project at my house with his 2 roommates and one of them brought COVID..so I had to reschedule my surgery b/c it was right in the midst of my symptoms. Unfortunately the dr was booked for 2 full months after...so just waiting now.
I'm excited to get back to the support of my meal group again! I want to lose about 10# right now. (Hopefully before my surgery)
So far I've had a premier shake, and a piece of cheese.
A friend is bringing some chicken soup to my office at lunchtime from her leftovers last night.
Dinner were going out to the local seafood joint. I'm not big on seafood so I'll probably have blackened grouper and a salad. (Thats my go-to there)
I don't know what I'm a scrooge about at Christmas...I love Christmas, and I love to wrap gift (Hate gift bags..lol) Maybe the clean up afterwards. I'd like an artificial tree but my household looks at me like I have 10 eyes if a mention that.

Welcome back...What Plastics will you be having? I had my hernia fixed and they removed the skin from my stomach. I would love to have more done. Boobs, Butt, thighs, and arms. This is why I play the lottery.
HW 299 SW 290 CW 139 GW 140 2/08/2019 OPERATION: Surgical Hernia with excision of total surface area of 55 x 29 cm of abdominal skin.
Good morning menu peeps!
Wow JB that's a buttload of snow you are getting. I'm in Canada and we only have enough to say the ground is covered.
I missed being able to log on the last couple of days but it seemed like every employee we have needed something from me. Today is better thus far, so fingers crossed for this afternoon. I'll catch up on some paperwork and then head to the gym for an amped up workout with my trainer. We always do 4 sets of 12 reps on every exercise and the other night he upped my goblet squat weight to 65lbs,, glutes are feeling it! Then he decided we would do mountain climbers on the raised platform in the studio ,,,, praying for upper body workout tonight.
QOTD: I'm a scrooge when it comes to crowded stores and long checkout lines,, hate the "bustle". Cleanup after the holidays ranks high too,, remnants of glitter or pine needles that seem to stick around until summer no matter how many times you sweep or vacuum!
