I am glad you finally are in your new home, but boohoo on the leg! I hope it improves quickly. I like your tree! We do have to improvise in Florida sometimes. However right now I am in Massachusetts for 2.5 more weeks waiting for snow tomorrow. Mixed feelings about that...

Morning all! My eating was crap yesterday! Started out really good and went downhill from there. Today is a new day though and I have absolutely no junk in the house to tempt me. I have to go into the office tomorrow. Well not really into the office....they want us to swing by and kind of do a drive by where we stay in our cars and they give us our Christmas gifts. They don't want anyone actually entering the office. Thankfully we were approved to continue working from home through March 31st. I'm hoping it will extend beyond that. Frankly I don't care to ever go back into the office even after this pandemic is over!
QOTD: We don't really have any family mysteries that I can think of. The only thing is the whole saga with my grandparents will. It was always in the will that everything.....money, contents of their house and the 100+ acres of land be divided up equally between all five children (my mom and her 4 siblings). Something happened though between the time my grandmother passed in 1988 and my grandfather passing in 2000 because everything was left to my uncle (moms brother). Mom and her 3 sisters got nothing. They seem to think my uncle and/or his wife coerced my grandfather into changing it. We shall never know though....and mom, her 3 sisters and the brother are no longer on speaking terms. Haven't been since 2000. Also sucks that my grandfather gave my grandmothers diamond ring to a new lady he was dating after my grandmother passed. They split up and she would never give the ring back. So who knows now what happened to my grandmothers ring. We have mostly family drama instead of family mysteries! Haha

I'm in a lot of pain this morning. If bed was actually comfortable I'd still be in it. I'm so exhausted. I have an appointment on the phone with my psychiatrist mid morning.
eating has not been great. It all falls apart after the sun goes down. I need to buckle up and stop this madness.
qotd: my grandma on my moms side was born after her birth father passed away(burst appendix 1925). He and a few of his siblings had been disowned by their mother. She was apparently a piece of work. We have been doing tons of research and have never been able to find my grandmas grandfather on that vein. We've done DNA and all sorts of things. We couldn't find anything on her..other than being born in Missouri. My grandma never met her. All my grandma ever wanted was love and family. They never offered her any of it.
My grandma's mother was very selfish but was also very young when she was born.
Also I supposedly have a half brother out there. Long story short my father was married before being married to my mom. She supposedly got pregnant when he was in jail. He said he paid a guard to let them have sex. My grandparents claim there was no way it could be his. I'm on that vein of thought myself. Thank the Lord my mom had my father "fixed" so no other kids should be out there. He was crazier than a bed bug.
