What's on your menu (Tuesday)
Good morning and happy tuesday. So the car saga continues. I may have told you that one of my friends' father is a car broker. Anyway I talked to him last night. I told him what I was interested in and he said he would help. He'll find me the cars, in the color with the options I want, and negotiate with the dealer for the best price. All I'll have to do is transfer the funds and sign the paperwork. They'll then drop the car off at my house. Oh, I guess I need to decide what car I actually want. I asked if I could pay him extra to do that for me. I mean, on most days I can't figure out what to eat for lunch, so making this decision is driving me nuts. I swear, if I ever win the lottery I'm opening a restaurant called "I don't know." I figure we'll always be busy. "What do you want for dinner?" "I don't know." Boom! Instant business.
QOTD: Musee D'Orsay in Paris. Easy answer. Impressionist art is my jam, so I spent HOURS there. But I actually love all museums. When I was young my dad had season tickets to the Rams. He would take me to a game or two a year, but we would always go early and go to one of the museums in Exposition Park. Science and Industry, Natural History, etc. He wanted to make sure I was well rounded.
My plan:
B: Fairlife latte and a handful of protein granola (I'm not feeling great this morning and didn't really want "food")
L: Roast Beef and Cheese roll ups
D: Lox, Eggs and Onions. The little jewish girl is making an appearance tonight.
S: pear
E: off day. The high winds blew the canopy off of the outdoor spin area so she cancelled classes tonight so it could be repaired

That is such a great memory with your dad. My love from musuems came from my grandmother and great grandmother; they would always take us and we'd rotate who picked...my cousins knew we were going back to the Adler whenever it was my pick.

Morning! I had my two week post-op appointment for my hip today. They removed my stitches which were looking pretty irritated and itching like crazy. They said that I'm a good healer (which I already knew) and they probably should have come out days ago. They stung like crazy when they removed them because of the skin growing around. The good news is, I should be set to get in the hot tub at our beach house after Christmas. I can also start to bear weight gradually on my leg. The hope will be that I'm mostly crutch free in another 2 weeks. I'm strongly considering buying myself a cane, because I'm so over these damn crutches.
QOTD: This question makes me realize I haven't been to all that many. My favorites are probably a gem and mineral museum I went to in Nova Scotia, but I can't remember the name. I love rocks, lol.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x3
- Eggs, Bacon, Sweet Potato, Strawberries, Sour Cream
- Homemade pizza, we do this one night per week and we shifted it from my younger to older daughter's night since the younger one was getting out easy all the time :)

You are making good progress on recovery and yay for being able to hot tub!! You would love the minerals and gems at the museum here, the section on Colorado mines, minerals and gems is really cool.

cane would definitely be easier than crutches. Or maybe walking sticks/hiking poles? I use those when I'm going to walk long distances because I have a bad right hip joint, so I walk out of alignment. In most cases I can walk without problems, but if I'm going to be doing a LOT of walking, it can get pretty painful. I used walking sticks in India and have continued to use them here - they so help. I walk straighter when I use them. Although a cane would help, too...
QOTD- The Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian I only had a day so I chose the Natural History Museum so I could see the Hope Diamond, it's the only diamond I've ever really liked. Palace of Fine Arts, they had a Monet exhibit when I was there and it was beautiful. The Louvre, I was mesmerized by Winged Victory and and DaVinci's prisoners, but it's so overwhelming. Too much to see and it all runs together. I fell in love with sculpture in Europe, there definitely aren't as many here in the US. I would love to see Auschwitz (that sounds weird, but I want to be there in person) and I also follow them on twitter.
My eating has been cr*p lately, for some reason I had Chex Mix and it upset my stomach yesterday so I took the afternoon off. My pouch has been rather picky lately, I know some of the things I should just avoid but I can't seem to.
I'm so glad the electoral college affirmed what we all knew, so we can move forward next year with hopefully a much calmer and decent administration.
Have a great day everyone!
