Costco sells the Sonoma brand every once in a while. It's like Christmas (or the first night of Hanukkah) when I turn the corner and see them there!

I'd very much like your recipe for colorful turkey meatloaf .

In Europe they use turkey medallions ALL the time ( and ground turkey too) - I've tried including it in meatball recipes and didn't like the dry results .

Thank you !

the recipe is for the veggie torte part only. I cannot get the file to load here for some reason! Send me a PM with your email address and I'll pop it out to you!

I love the sonoma crisps. Costco by me has them every once in a while, although a giant bag is dangerous for me.

I am back on Cape Cod, just in time for what may be a significant snowstorm on Thursday. Boy will my Florida doggie freak out if we do!

I hope to get to the beach with him today before it rains this afternoon, but it is getting dark out there so I might not be able to. I did already get out to the food store to make sure I had healthy food items in stock.

QOTD: The last time I sent cards was the Christmas just before eldest DD died. We were so full of hope and had a photo of her with the younger children on the card. I just couldn't muster the emotional strength to do it for years and by the time I could somewhat enjoy the holiday again I was so much out of the habit it didn't seem to make sense to start up again.

TSS: 4 years, 8.5 months

B: Coffee!!! Eggs and cottage cheese

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

I remember when I treated my body as a dumpster fire. I smoked, drank, ate very unhealthy, and I did exercise but after all the drinking and eating I don't think it helped much. I have not had a cigarette since October 28th, 2017 and can not believe I smoked all those years. Sometimes I am more proud of that than the weight loss. I do feel so much better jumping out of the bed in the morning, I also feel better jumping in bed too. Don't have to flip and flop all night to find comfort. Now the weight does not smash my body and give me pain anymore.

I had a nice weekend. It was nice enough to run both days so that was a bonus. We finally put our ornaments on our trees yesterday. But other that that just some grocery shopping, I think I am finished Christmas shopping, did food prep, did mom duty, and we were able to use the hot tub yesterday. So low key and were now at Monday again. Ho Hum.

QOTD: I always do a bunch of cards. At one time I was doing over 100 but last year I played a game and only sent out to the people who sent them to me and lessened the list. So far this year I have done 64 and I am hoping I am done.

Accountability: Blueberry Rain Wine in the hot tub, and I had more M&M sugar cookie flavored than I should have.

TSS: 3 years 0 Months and 3 day 131.8 (Lowest 129.4)

MS: Premier Café Latte Protein shake and berries

L: Crockpot pizza and snack select

D: Thai Turkey burger and slaw.

Exercise: 40 minute treadmill (done)

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been great. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Everybody have a Great week.

Brightest Blessing

Ughhh Monday already...

This weekend was spent moving my neighbors to a new house so we made many trips and I definitely got my exercise in back and forth with boxes up/down steps. I also cooked dinner for the moving crew on Saturday night so was happy when my mom called yesterday inviting us for dinner (we had fish so it was yummy and fell into my calorie range).

QOTD: I only sent out one Christmas card along with a retirement to my Aunt who I won't see this year due to a scaled down holiday. I tend to just call my friends and chat rather than send out cards...nice to hear voices ;)

B - protein shake

L - turkey & garden salad

S - greek yogurt

D - rotisserie chicken, roasted brussel sprouts with parmesan

S - turkey pepperettes

3.5 L water

G'morning all!

First word I heard this morning from DD was Mondays are hard. Oh yes honey, Mondays are hard and they will be hard for a very long time.

Had a nice weekend. Sat went for a drive in the neighborhood to check out everybody's lights. There is a house that every year becomes a local attraction because they put so many lights on and literally create a traffic jam; the cars slow down to check out all the details. This year it was completely dark. I hope there is no health related issues and the owner is just taking a break.

On Sun, although it was raining cats and dogs, got together with two friends for a bday celebration. I was kinda hesitant but the restaurant had done a great job on their patio. There was a total of 5 tables very spaced out, and the tables were all round 6 tops for parties of 4. The tent kept us dry and the space heater kept us toasty. I was happy to see the friends I hadn't seen in a while and talk to them in person. The bday girl was beaming and very happy with the cardigan I made for her.

QOTD: we do, every year, but it has become later and later due to kids being gone. We need to wait for the them to come home to take a family pic and by the time the cards are printed we send them out as a NY card and no longer a Xmas card. But it's OK, I love sending and receiving the cards. Sometimes they are the only way I hear from some family and friends.

Accountability: yesterday was not good, let's sat JB's meme was very relatable to me on Sunday, treated my body like a dumpster fire!

My meals yesterday:

  • B: coffee + scrambled eggs
  • L: tried to skip it knowing I had a bday dinner but grazed on everything in the pantry
  • D: fish taco salad, 3-4 mini bundt cakes (lost count after the second one!)
  • E: rest day

Today is another day. Have a great start of the week.

I send out virtual Christmas and Hannukah cards except to my Parents who enjoy displaying them on their mantle.

I'm SO MAD at myself for failing to work and produce a workable office space finally . GRRRR I am just a LAZY LAZY good-for-nothing

Had a go-see this morning and of course my phone wasn't charged so I lost GPS halfway there and had to wait by the side of the road until it came back on.... I was ALREADY late because I lost my keys in the apartment for a half hour ( turns out they were in my purse all along

I got the job though ( teleprompter reading skillz are the most important thing I think ) and of course the usual "encouragement" by the booker to try to lose 15 lbs to stay camera -gaunt ... yikes ....

Not having a Naturally Attenuated model figure its VERY hard to be that skinny ... I was jus****ching a series ( War of the Worlds - very good) with Elizabeth McGovern ... and gosh she's so thin her legs look like skinny arms !

Considering the weight the camera puts on - she probably looks seriously anorexic in real life ... and that's NOT healthy especially after a certain age .

Being super-thin carries a LOT of risks like losing your heart muscle through rigorous dieting and then not having enough pumping capability when you gain the weight back ... which leads to eventual heart failure .

I have an ex-ballerina friend who yearly wears a heart monitor for a few days so the cardiologist can evaluate her arrhythmias and so forth and assess her for a possible heart attack - which despite her being in GREAT shape and at a low weight she is still considered at very high risk for.

UGH

Last nite a plate of fat free veggie lasagna happened , also some popcorn and an ice milk bar .

B- meatloaf , chai tea latte , two slices toast

L- DK - Im scared to eat now... maybe some cucumber salad and more veggie lasagna ( which probably has fewer calories and similar numbers to most protein shakes)

D- Have no idea - will probably put together a mushroom Beef and pork Bourginon ( made with eye round and pork tenderloin so super low-fat ) that takes 4 hours to bake and maybe a fat free cheesecake for tomorrow . Will probably eat samples of those .

S- ice milk bar

I HOPE I can manage to do some productive work today ... ugh I'm SO SICK of this rebellion and refusal in myself ...
