What's on your Saturday Menu?

Morning everyone! I decided to post today to try to keep going with this lower calorie plan. It's taking a lot of wiggling around on MFP to get the serving sizes just right to make my new macros work for me. I am having a hard time keeping fats low but I'm determined. Right after I post this, I am going to head over to Trader Joe's and get what I need for the week.
Last night we decided to go to see Christmas Lights at a local Catholic Shrine. it gets bigger every year and it's lovely. Here is a pic taken from a hill overlooking it all. It was so nice to be outside and "near" people. It's been a minute since I have seen anyone outside of my house!
QOTD: What is something you are looking forward to? This is a tough one for me, because I have zero plans for the holiday and work is about to ramp up to insanity for the next few months... but I think I am most excited to give my mom her Christmas present! I know it is going to be a really nice surprise for her :)
Accountability was on point yesterday--I even turned down FRIED DOUGH, DOUGHNUTS & COCOA at the Christmas lights (pats myself on the back)... but I went for another glass of wine before bed while I watched CNN's coverage of the Supreme Court turning down the Orange One. It deserved a celebratory glass!

Good Saturday morning everyone!
It is going to be a LONG day for me. I've already got a pie made and the dishes done. I need to make the decorating frosting here in about an hour. The cake is already pretty horrendous...LOL. I'm over it...trying to make it look like Pinterest. That place is dangerous. Ha!
We are in line for 3-6 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow morning. Yay. My body aches so so so much it's just going to be worse. I have my heated blanket and throw ready!
I had a little argument with my mom last night. It ended with her telling me just because I'm miserable with pain that I didn't have to make everyone else miserable. It was while I was making the regular frosting. It hurt... a lot. I know I've been salty as hell but a lot has been put on my shoulders when it shouldn't be. Anyway...we talked and she apologized. It did make me cry so I have a headache from that this morning. I'm just doing the best I can. It's the first really argument we've had since way before the Covid-19 stuff started so I think we're doing pretty good! LOL

Good Saturday morning all! I was down another almost 2 pounds this morning! Yay! Hopefully this trend can continue. I need to go to the grocery store today, but I honestly don't feel like going anywhere or doing anything. We shall see...
QOTD: hmmm....I guess Christmas even though our family Christmas Eve party was cancelled this year due to COVID. Still pretty bummed about that since it will be the first time since I've been alive at least that we haven't had it. And it's the only time of year the extended family gets to see each other. I am looking forward to giving my parents and brother their gifts though! I'm also looking forward to my brother proposing to his girlfriend! He's in the process of getting things sorted out with the ring (trying to find a way to incorporate her grandmothers diamond into her engagement ring). Eek I'm sooo excited for them and what's to come! It's been a long time since I've seen my brother this happy and it brings such joy to my heart! Can't wait for her to become part of the family!
