What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
I am sorry you have MS. I have friends with it and I know it affects your whole life. I hope your weight loss helps make your life easier.

hi all
im so happy for the weekend, it is overdue. I left after work in my gym clothes and didn't go to the gym. instead I went to the local orchard for apples and squash relish, dunkin donuts for an iced coffee, the humane society thrift for the shopping, and Walmart. at least I was productive. I also finally got the answer to the QOTD earlier in the week- favorite purchase this week- a nice white set of corelle dishes! so excited
scale dropped randomly 2 pounds from yesterday very exciting!
food plan today:
b: coffee/premier
egg/egg whites/frigo cheese, pita 1 sp
b2: rest of b or shake?
l: turkey again- still need to eat it -
d: probably turkey again
s: unsure
Pics are of the house last weeks snow and sunset.
Yeah, wine and weight loss don't mix as I have found out. But I usually allow it once a week with a nice meal. My regular taste buds are really kicking in now post-Covid so I have to really watch it or I will have more than the extra 4 pounds I have had for a while to lose. My coffee is tasting SO GOOD this morning!
I can't wait to fly home Sunday! All family members have been informed about my having Covid and other than DS who freaked out are relieved that I had a mild case and that I can't bring it home with me.
Tonight Mike is taking me out to a fancy restaurant and I am dressing up in some bling. I will take a pic for future posting if I remember. He wants to celebrate our "anniversary", Christmas, and New Years since we won't see each other for at least the next 3 weeks. I have a gift for him at home - maybe I will mail it?
QOTD: I guess self driving cars, though I would love to have a Jetsons type flying car. Self-driving cars are actually already available but the issues with them partially have to do with mixing self-driving with human driven cars (the latter are not predictable to the self driving cars). I worked for a large insurance company for years and they have been talking about the complications for a while.
Picture of a roseate spoonbill from yesterday (yes, I forced the flight to get the picture):
TSS: 4 years, 8 months
B: Coffee!!! Eggs and cottage cheese
L: unsure
D: probably Grouper
S: blueberry cheesecake yogurt pie and/or nut thins with cottage cheese

It's going to be interesting to see what the November/December activities do to the Covid datasets and knowledge; everything seems to show that the mild cases aren't transmitting after the 10 days post last untreated symptom which is positive but are seeing higher reinfection rates...but it's all so new, they're not even sure if it's reinfection or just the mild cases lingering unknown and then rebounding.
Just from a "watching science real time" it's fascinating....although I really would have preferred to let science continue to happen in the background.

Yeah, I am going to go ahead and get the vaccine when my priority hits. I don't know how being in Florida may complicate that though.

Good morning and happy Friday! The weekend should be pretty uneventful. After today we start our 2 week holiday quarantine because my mother insists we come to her home for Christmas Eve. My brother already had Covid but I'm terrified of getting my father (heart and kidney transplant) sick so quarantine it is!
QOTD: Flying cars! I've always wanted to be a pilot. he he
Over the course of the week I've really started thinking about my food again. Last night I did have 2 ****tails for virtual happy hour (diet ginger beer and cherry vodka) but for the most part I'm getting better. I know I'll fail if I impose a calorie count right now so I'm trying to make small changes until I get to that point. I've been avoiding the kid's granola bars and fruit snacks and making my own meals. I'm trying. I'm definitely feel better!
TSS: 5 years 5 months
B: Coffee and premier protein, 1 slice 12 grain bread, 1 egg and 1 slice of Velveeta cheese (yes, gross my guilty pleasure and its fairly low cal)
L: Planning to grab chicken kabobs from my fav Persian place on my way to Costco
D: Thin sliced steak in a Korean marinade with snow peas and a dollop of rice
S: Probably an iced coffee while out running errands
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ALL!
