Morning all! Or is it the middle of the night still? I just never found sleep last night and after tossing and turning for hours I just quit and got up at 2:30am. Luckily today is a pretty passive day of meetings. I will be attending a marathon zoom meeting from 11 - 3, but just as a participant, yay! I do have trainings of my own to run from 7am - 8am & 3pm - 4pm, but I'm super familiar with the content and could give these trainings in my sleep, which is good, since I probably will, haha.
Yesterday's meeting with my NUT was good. We have worked together for 7+ years out of my 12 year WLS adventure, and I trust her. We talked at length about everything... I shared my screen and showed her many months worth of MFP menus (the good bad and ugly) and she's asking me to try changing my macros pretty dramatically.
New Plan: lower the calories (by a lot!)... lower the protein & fat by a little, and up the carbs by a little, too. She is not anti-keto or low carb at all, but one of the things she cautioned is that fats are the hardest thing to measure accurately and I may be inadvertently adding in more fat (which would lead to much higher calories) without being aware--even though I weigh and measure. Being as small as I am, adding in a hidden 150 calories a day could really make or break my goals!
Anyway, I trust her, and I am up for the adventure. For the last 2.5 years I have really flitted around trying to figure out the right macros for me, and I am up for trying this! I played around with my menu yesterday and added and deleted things for hours until I could get to close to her numbers. It will be tough until I go to the grocery store, but I think I can make it work for a few more days.
QOTD: What was your favorite purchase (big or small!) of this year? Mine is probably my NordicTrack iFit Treadmill! I am really happy that I have had a way to virtually travel and exercise during these last few months and it will continue to be a wonderful gift to myself for years to come, even when I am back to commuting.
Good morning all! I'm exhausted this morning. Quick post before starting work as I'm running behind!
Accountability was really good yesterday...it's been pretty good all week actually. I haven't been so ravenous like I normally am thank goodness! And this morning I am finally 2 ounces away from completely losing my regain! Yay! So I can finally focus on getting back on track to meeting my goal!
QOTD: I can't remember if I bought my Ninja single serve blender this year or last year but it's definitely my favorite purchase as I use it daily for my protein shakes! Also another favorite is my new ninja coffee bar I purchased a couple weeks ago. My old one stopped working properly and was making my coffee taste nasty. I am finally drinking delicious coffee again!
B: coffee w/Splenda & sf creamer x 2
B2: protein shake
L: 2 oz low sodium turkey breast & a laughing cow cheese wedge
D: 4 oz baked salmon and broccoli
S: L&F Greek yogurt & an apple
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
Great job at keeping at it to lose the regain.

Good morning from Florida (for 3 more days). I changed my flight and am going home Sunday instead of Tuesday! Yeah! I am missing everyone and after this Covid bout am really looking forward to going home for a few weeks. But I think I have to tell DS about my illness before I get there. I was going to tell him in person but he is making noise about quarantining me.
In the meantime I am driving my car to Mike's for a couple of days so I can get my stuff there in preparation for flying home on Sunday.
QOTD: Hmmm... I bought a lot of nice clothes (many Lilly Pulitzer so I am done buying that brand for a while) and a pair of Tory Burch shoes I really like. And I just ordered a Roomba for Florida, my annual gift from DH, even though he isn't here anymore. I might end up loving it. After doing a thorough cleaning here this week I decided I liked the idea of having my floor automatically vacuumed. ETA: And I love the necklace I had made from my wedding ring and a pendant DH had given me when we were first married:
