Good Morning, it's Fri-yay! Love the pics, JB. Your zoom background is perfect. We need to get out some of our Christmas decorations this weekend but not much else going on. Afternoon weather should be beautiful so maybe some coffee and reading time on a blanket outside will be nice.

Accountability: On plan!

QOTD: Daily here too. Maybe it was around 4 months out I had to break the weighing habit/obsession that had become multiple times a day. During that time I weighed once a week per my surgeons direction. After a few months, I was able to bring it back and now understand the fluctuations, and that even those who haven't had surgery fluctuate too.

TSS: 6 years, 3 months

B: Sf latte, eggbeaters, turkey sausage and apple slices

L: Turkey wrap, string cheese, salad, and a plum

S: Mikey's muffin top, carbmaster yogurt, and carbmaster cottage cheese

D: Birch benders pancakes, eggbeaters, turkey sausage, sliced orange/ banana slices, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Greek yogurt with 1/4 cup fiber cereal

E: An hour treadmill run and one hour elliptical

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals: 1399 Protein:125 Carbs:112 Fat:62

Have a great one!

When I was losing after surgery I weighed once a month to keep my sanity, but moved to daily once I reached goal. Understanding weight fluctuation was important for me too.

Happy Friday everyone!

JB, I love your decorations and Fezzie is being such a cat!!

I had a very bad gastric reaction last night. I don't know what caused it because I didn't eat anything new. N/V and intense pain but after about 2 hours with a heating pad on my stomach, it eased off and I went to sleep...argh! Trial and error sucks!

I have a telehealth appointment with my neurologist this morning. I'm not sure what he'll want to do. I also have an appointment on the 15th with a bariatric doctor who also deals with post-op complications. I'm also hopeful that their nutritionist can give me some guidance.

QOTD: I usually weigh first thing in the morning to get a reading on where I am. I went through an unhealthy period where I weighed multiple times a day. I finally adjusted to the fact that my body isn't a machine and that there are complex reasons that I lost or gained.

Food plan: no clue after last night. Maybe some Jello or a bit of plain yogurt later in the day. Gotta give my guts some rest.

Exercise: I really want to do my PT exercises twice today.

My pic for today is my Muslim neighbor's version of Christmas. Yes and those are his 2 boys!

He is such a goof!

Have a safe and healthy day everyone!

Janet

Janet, I hope your tummy feels better today. Strange how some days our body rejects something just out of the blue. Great pic!

Good morning, Happy FF Friday!

QOTD - I weigh myself daily, but I only log on Sundays. I try not to be obsessive about it, and have come to understand that a few lbs fluctuation is normal for me. I have also had a doctor for the first time in my life EVER tell me "no more weight loss" and that was a bit of a shock. I am at a good, healthy weight for my height and I feel great, it was just weird to hear. I am not actively looking to lose weight, just trying to maintain.

Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee, water

Lunch - Leftover spaghetti, sauce, salad

Snack - fruit smoothie

Snack - apple slices with peanut butter, pepitas with dried fruit

Snack - crackers with vegan chao cheese and some torfurkey ham slices, *****in' sauce (its so good!)

Dinner - either cheese enchiladas or beyond burger with fries, depends on what kids choose

I hope you all have a great day!

Christina

Let it begin with me.

If you don't mind I have a question I've been wanting to ask you!

I know that you are vegan and I've been trying to find a "cheese" that is good. I've come to really not care for daiya stuff. I did find the chao cheese just last week and like it A LOT better. I was wondering what your favorite is?

I'd appreciate any tips! I also live in podunk like Amarillo who has not many choices. Thanks!

Good morning. I had to get up early at the campground and return home to work. We could not get the printer to talk to the computer and that is essential for me. Luckily it's a 12 minute drive. So I'll work from home again today, back to the campground this evening for the weekend and hopefully have an all clear Covid test result back by Sunday night so I can go to the office Monday. I'm looking forward to several bike rides this weekend. Even if it's just lapping around the lakes we are parked at.

QOTD. I weigh myself daily. First thing in the morning and record on Tuesday. My docs thing is that once a day weighing gives you a chance to reflect on yesterday's decisions and see how they impacted you. Not that you might have been bad, more like, oh that salty popcorn has you up a bit. Perhaps more water today.

my pics are of our time in Cabo. Me and the hubs at dinner at Sunset Mona Lisa (restaurant is Google worthy!). My bubble of people at the Cabo sign and on the catamaran and a view shot from the house we rented.

Menu

B: fried egg on one slice chompies bread

l: cheese, ham slice

D: chicken popper thing I got from the butcher shop. Has jalapeño and cream cheese inside, rolled up and coated with paprika. No idea if it will be good, but they raved about it. With sweet potatoes per their recommendation.

Peace Everyone
