Food allergies and reactions?

Some of you may know I discovered i'm allergic to dairy and gluten.
well...I fell off the wagon hard over the weekend and to yesterday. Had a bit of both. Now I have a very sore upper lip with rawness and sores.
I'm a prized fool I know but does anyone have any idea what I can put on my lips to help them heal or at least not hurt so dang much?
Mel
Oh man, Melody. I've got nothing except suggesting gargling with warm salted water. (Old wives tale my mother always pressed). Lots of Vaseline and Abreva. Under stress, I break out with shingles in the roof of my mouth. So I understand your pain!

Neosporin with pain reliever might help now and then when the pain is gone, Aquaphor might help with the dryness/itching. Good luck!

Aww poor baby ! Sending you a hug and the hope that it goes away fast.
Vitamin C ( on the inside !) and sometimes Vitamin E oil ( on the outside if its not irritating ) might possibly help heal quicker and scarlessly.
I second the warm sal****er. My grandmother also used it, but as I've gotten older I've found that it really helps.

Thanks everyone! I used some honey and coconut oil last night and it feels soooo much better. I resisted the gluten and dairy stuff and it's feeling better overall.
