My surgeon wants yearly follow ups, so if there's an issue, it can be addressed quickly. I like that he does that. I also like that he follows labs. I want him to order since he is the most comprehensive. His patients are always welcome in his practice. Since I've had issues, I tend to go every 6 months. We're now friends (which is crazy to me) so I can actually text or call with any issues I have.

I go back to Arizona to meet with my surgeon yearly. I did find a PCP here in Colorado that's affiliated with the local bariatric center of excellent surgeon, just in case I need to engage one here. She's been great, I tell her what I need in terms of blood tests and she orders it.

My team has been really great. I see them more or less depending on how I'm doing. With my back and depression issues it's been more than less. I see them about every 4 to 6 weeks...usually over the phone this year. I usually see the NP and I really like him and my surgeon.

If or when my crap settles the heck down I hope to cut back on visits. I'd love to not need them lol.

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

The women in todays meme is scary. I have not resembled that in many years. Thank goodness. Congratulations on the sale of the home. That did not take long at all. NICE!

I am getting my car worked on today so DH drove me to work. You know regular maintenance oil change and what not but I had to get tires. I was trying to hold out till I got a verdict from the lemon law but I want to be safe so tires it is.

QOTD: Lots of stuff. I am an odd bird but a few that comes to mind pre surgery is cold baked beans on toast, buttered French fries with salt, and Deep friend Mozzarella stick dipped in Mayonnaise.

Accountability: No exercise and I had many many snacks. Most healthy but way to many calories.

TSS: 2 years 11 Months and 22 day 131.2 (Lowest 129.4)

MS: Premier Blueberry oat Protein shake and berries

L: turkey meatballs and chicken snack select and apples

D: meatloaf and cauliflower ravioli.

Exercise: 40 minute treadmill (done)

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been great. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Everybody have a Great day.

Brightest Blessing

Good morning!
back at my makeshift home office desk. Just as cranky about it today as I?ve been each day. Today, we are taking the RV to a local spot, and parking at the side of a pretty, man made, lake. Moving my office to the dinette table. Even had to go buy a new printer to put in the RV. I will be so glad to go back to my office on Monday. Getting a Covid test today to clear the way for that.

yesterday, on the heels of my bad news, I found myself in the kitchen all day off and on. I didn?t eat off plan. In fact I have dropped 1.5 of the pounds I found in Cabo. But food really is still my jam. I made a beautiful veggie torte with a bit of cheese in it which I was able to enjoy with dinner, a fun peppermint cheesecake which I did not sample but the hubs said was great, caramelized a ton of onions and froze them in little haystacks for future use, and prepped a menu for the coming week by digging deep in the freezer. It?s definitely soothing to me to putter in the kitchen.

QOTD. I am not real adventurous when it comes to food. But I do (used too) love spaghetti with just butter and Parm.

menu

B: hb egg, cottage cheese

l: left over smoked chicken

d: ground beef and mozzarella stuffed portobello

Peace Everyone!

I am like you always in the kitchen. Those vegies look fantastic so does the cheesecake but I am trying not to look. Hope your test clears you for work. Good luck.

If you asked my kids that's exactly their comfort food. Pasta with butter and shaved parm cheese. It's the ultimate comfort food when your tummy doesn't feel good.
