What's on your Wednesday Menu?
I am glad you are feeling better. I have what seems like a head cold but is probably Covid. I am getting tested at 12:30. DD called late yesterday to tell me that she tested positive for Covid. So Mike and I are quarantined at least until test time today and for a minimum of another week if we are positive. And I am pretty sure we are, though I don't feel terrible - no fever, just congestion (DD and Mike are the same).
QOTD: I also like Christmas lights and snow when it is fresh. But not cold, ice and messy/dirty snow.
TSS: 4 years, 8 months
B: Coffee!!! Eggs and cottage cheese
L: chicken salad and laughing cow cheese
D: Italian chicken and peppers (IP recipe) over zoodles
S: strawberry/blueberry cheesecake yogurt pie

I am so sorry to hear this. If it is COVID, I hope you both have mild cases and quick recoveries. I am staying inside, getting things delivered, and avoiding everyone. Our schools are closed and we have a curfew in place from 10:00 PM - 5:00 AM. Everything is closed by 10:00 PM and it is very quiet. The police and state patrol will pull cars over if they are on the road after 10:00 PM. Only essential workers should be driving.
Our hospitals are close to full capacity. We are seeing about 9,000 new cases a day and 57 COVID deaths every day in Ohio.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I'm so glad you are not feeling too bad and your are quarantined. I have heard so many stories of people not contract tracing and not quarantining it is so disheartening. It is a shame our society is so self absorbed they do not care what happens to anyone but themselves. I wish you a speedy recovery.
HW 299 SW 290 CW 139 GW 140 2/08/2019 OPERATION: Surgical Hernia with excision of total surface area of 55 x 29 cm of abdominal skin.
Update: the results were a big red positive. We are about 4 days into it as we both felt like we had a slight cold or allergies Saturday afternoon. So hopefully it won't end up being anything more than it is now. I just ordered groceries to be delivered as we had planned to drive to Mike's place tomorrow but now we will be staying here.
By the way, the testing process was super smooth in making an appointment and getting the test other than the fact that we had to drive 45 minutes to get there. The smaller local test places were impossible to even get on the phone.
And we had already told our contacts of the possibility as soon as DD informed me and they now know the results.
