Will you be first in line for a Covid vaccine?
hollykim, thanks! It's funny, I started to read your post and my mind replaced the word inaugurated with the word Vaccinated! I'm supposing they will vaccinate the new President and his cabinet first, right?
I would think that, yes, they would be very high on the list. I am in the high risk age group, turning 67 next mont but have no comorbidities so don't know where I will fall in line.
Both DW and I are high risk so I expect we'll be early in the line. That said I'm also nervous because it was pushed through so quickly without long term testing. But I'll be in line.

According to the NYTimes calculator, I'm there are 268 million ahead of me in the vaccine line so it will be awhile, but I'm ready.

Me too! Here are my results:
Based on your risk profile, we believe you're in line behind 268.7 million people across the United States.
When it comes to Massachusetts, we think you're behind 5.4 million others who are at higher risk in your state.
And in Plymouth County, you're behind 407,000 others. If the line in Massachusetts was represented by about 100 people, you'd be standing 93rd. So... I need to keep my enthusiasm for the vaccine at bay.
