What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

We use our Air Fryer all the time but the InstantPot collects dust most of the time. Cooking for one is almost impossible with the InstantPot, but I do like having it around for back when we were hosting!

I use both, but they now have an instant pot with an airfryer lid!

Oh I want that! But Grim would actually murder me if I bought one more kitchen appliance.

But if you get the instant pot with airfryer lid, you'd replace two gadgets with one. You'd actually be reducing gadgets!

Everyone I know who bought an Instapot has stored it away by now. I still have my Presto pressure cooker that I have used for many years and that is what I use if I want to cook stew or pot roast. I try not to buy things I don't really need, so I don't have to store them.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Good Morning JB and Menuers,
I want to applaud everyone who posted yesterday. You are definitely devoted way more than I am. I did have a lovely Holiday with just Mom, DB, SIL and DH. So 5 but all spaced apart and none of us have knowingly been exposed. The turkey was fantastic and as Long as we have Popeyes in my area I will no longer do a turkey from raw. You threw the thing in the oven for 21/2 hours and voila best damn turkey ever. Moist no red near the bones it was perfecto. You do have to watch the skin though the Cajun spice was a little too spicy for me so I was very careful to not have the skin.
JB I love your orange shirt and it was so nice you went formal with the scaled down holiday. I set the table but did not bring out any special china just used the every day stuff.
My weekend will be spent decorating for the Holiday.
QOTD: I had a cart full from Macy's this morning and I finally checked out, however some items had already been out of stock so I had to remove 2 items. I also ran into Michaels this morning because my snow blanket for my snow baby village was feeling it's age and we had a blueberry wine that was awesome yesterday and I just sent DH to buy the store out of it and I think we got 8 bottles for $110. It was so good.
Accountability: NONE I only listened to my pouch as soon as it was not full I went back and ate again.

Morning! Yesterday was the first Thanksgiving dinner I have ever been home (as an adult) for. My father cooked when we lived in NY and then our first year in NC we went to Savannah, GA to see my oldest childhood friend. Last year we were invited to Myrtle Beach. It was actually really nice being on our own time schedule. We planned dinner for dinner time, which meant no sitting around starving for a mid-afternoon meal. I had my normal lunch and Jon also made apple turnovers from scratch and I enjoyed half of one of those. Then we have a full TG dinner including pumpkin pie and fruit salad.
I really, really enjoy the lack of feeling like garbage that comes with post-WLS holidays. Not that I don't indulge, but my restriction stops me from that terrible "turkey coma" feeling (even though we had chicken, not turkey lol).
QOTD: I am one single $15-ish gift away from being done shopping. But, I'm still paying attention when I get random emails, because I have no idea what to get for that one gift.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x3 (my husband bought a percolator coffee pot and has been making decaf in it and man it's good)
- Eggs, Sweet Potato, Bacon
- Leftover TG dinner, although I didn't go crazy with dish sizes so I may need to make some more potatoes!
