What's on your Monday Menu?

I heard there is a wine advent at Costco! Thats my kind of countdown!
I guess we have been brave/foolish, as I have been going out to eat more than ever since early June. Always outside but Mike was just commenting yesterday that the pandemic hasn't really affected our ability to do things since our favorite activities are walking or sitting/swimming at the beach and going out to eat.
Jim, his wife Marilyn, Mike and I met up for lunch yesterday. It was fun! A lot of parallels in where we have lived/worked. I still find it so cool that we can make friendships online!
DD arrived from Massachusetts for the week yesterday. Contrary to what I was seeing in the news yesterday, Logan and Fort Myers airports were very quiet and she had a row on the flight all to herself. So her trip here seemed pretty safe and she had already been quarantined for two weeks due to a Covid exposure. She also has an appointment for a Covid test back in Massachusetts when she returns. We drive to Mikes today, then to his sons on Wednesday for Thanksgiving. It will be a busy week.
QOTD: I walk every day for an hour. I had been doing that most days up north but here it is every day without fail. At my age, I feel it is the safest base exercise. I wish I was good at doing yoga videos, but I really like the in-person class so I haven't been doing that lately

I was just telling my mom French fries sound so good just yesterday! lol
Good morning everyone. Today promises to be long. I'm having a really rough time pain wise. Since Thursday it's been rather ridiculous. I'm feeling very angry and just grumpy as heck. I'm just in a bad way mentally and physically. That fatigue with the Covid-19 fatigue I'm just spent
We have the kids today. Then we are off for the rest of the week. Except we have to figure out when they can stay the night. Yay? I love em but they fight a lot and require a lot. LOL.
QOTD: I used to not have a routine other than just exercise when I could fit it in. Now with the back and pain it's hard to walk let alone exercise much other stuff.
b: oatmeal and coffee
l: chicken breast with butternut squash
d: scrambled eggs with a chicken maple sausage
s: popcorn, gf bread and maybe some gardein chips

Good Morning! How is it Thanksgiving week already at the same time as feeling like this is the 19th million day of 2020? We have our turkey thawing in the fridge and it'll probably be ready on Wednesday, we aren't doing much which is fine for me since I work Friday.
Accountability: Friday night was all bad but i reigned it in Saturday and Sunday. I do need to stay consistent as I'm a solid 5 lbs above where I like to be.
QOTD: I'm a first thing in the morning exerciser. I joke that I have to do it before my head tries to talk me out of it. A few years ago I tried to switch to after work and dreaded it all day long. With my constant struggle of being obsessive about my workout regime, when I adjusted my schedule after I lost my job I no longer have an alarm set for the weekends and get up when I get up. I only run on one of the weekend days now. I'm a work in progress.
