What's on your Thursday Menu?
Yeah I'm laying off of them today. I was miserable last night. I was so excited to try a new low calorie recipe too. Oh well, I'll just leave out the flax seeds if I make them again. Still have several in the fridge. Guess I'll see if mom wants them....if not they will go in the trash. Not worth the pain.

Quick check in since I'm feeling a bit better. Still in the hospital and may be for a few more days. BUT I finally have a diagnosis!!! I have gastroparesis. Not great news, but now we have a direction to head. On a pureed diet, no fun, but at least something is going in, etc.
Better run but I wanted to say HI!!
PS if anyone has experience with gastroparesis, I'd love info!

hi all yesterday went pretty well despite the time lag and being up sooo early. food went well also.
QOTD: this is sooo hard. the stuffing and giblet gravy is a big thing in my house as well as the sweet potato soufflé (with candied pecans on top). I think it depends if we are talking choosing something that will make us sick. I can only have a little stuffing and do better actually with the sweet potatoes despite all that sugar. so my preference is sweet over savory in this case.

QOTD - I'm going with my mom's dressing. Hand's down. It's the best.
Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee, water it is
Lunch - kale/polenta/soyrizo scramble with vegan cheese on toast with some avocado butter
Snack - pepitas, apple slices with peanut butter
Snack - fruit smoothie - frozen fruits, almond milk, chia seeds, hemp seed hearts, turmeric, ginger, kale
Snack - chai tea latte with homemade shortbread that mimi (my mother in law) made (so good)
Dinner - I really want pizza. Like been craving it badly!
I already know today is gonna be a high calorie day, but...it's all gonna be in my window so I am NOT going to feel bad about it, not even a little!
