Good morning!

QOTD - I talk about it with you guys, and that's about it. No one in my family has had surgery, and my husband is naturally slim so... That being said I have a lot of support but you guys are all amazing!

Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee and water.

Lunch - vegan ramen. 1/2 PB&J

Snack - fruit smoothie, frozen fruit, almond milk, hemp seed hearts, chia seeds, mango, pineapple, ginger, turmeric, kale. Pumpkin seeds, mixed nuts, dried fruits

Snack - mini john sammy with guacamole, no cheese, all veggies,

Dinner - none, starting fast early.

Today will be my last day in office. With the surge in cases, we are being sent to work from home again. I'm relieved but definitely stressed about the rise in cases. You guys be safe.

Christina

Let it begin with me.

Crap, I broke my streak yesterday, but it was a rough day. I had our handyman out to stain my new gates, and Logan was fascinated by him. I was also super busy with work, so it was a lot to juggle. Our governor announced that we may be facing more restrictions soon. I'm hoping that Orange County is locked down again, I have a trial in December that we're not ready for and a judge who won't grant continuances. Maybe a shut down is just what I need. Also, I'm waiting to see if I need a Covid test. I was stupid stupid stupid and took a selfie with a friend at outdoor spin. We were masked but she's now sick and was tested yesterday morning. If she's positive I have to go today. I'll know soon enough.

QOTD: Yes, I have 2 friends who had surgery, and 1 who knows all about it. They're good to have in my life because they understand my craziness

My Plan

B: Light and Fit yogurt with a handful of protein granola, which promptly crashed my sugar down to 50. I will never learn.

L: Chicken thigh

D: no idea. If she's not covid positive, I have (virtual) spin tonight and haven't taken a thing out for tonight.

S: 1/2 apple before spin, fairlife latte

E: Spin

(edited to add virtual spin. I didn't want anyone to think I was going out if I may be Covid exposed. I'm spinning at home)

Hoping your friend is negative! It never crossed my mind that you would be going out to spin while waiting, you are too considerate for that!

I feel like the grrrl in the photo today lol .

I bought a large reef ( sal****er ) aquarium off Craigslist and spent all day Sunday renting a truck and transporting it and settling it into place.

Monday morning it was supposed to start up ( the owner drove up) . Then he broke a pipe and left saying he had to go to work .

Nine o'clock at night the sal****er delivery guy shows up and wants $500 to re-plumb the tank which works FINE except for this one break.

So this morning I tentatively fixed the pipe but am not sure enough of how the mechanics work to glue it in place lest I do it wrong and end up having to rebuild the whole thing.

Meanwhile two fish died, I have a pallet full of live corals snails and anemones and the live rock and live sand that filters the tank organically in five gallon buckets which are not getting anywhere near enough oxygen. So I'm panicking basically and waiting endlessly for a more reasonable person to show up after which I'll be looking for a hundred gallon plus sal****er delivery late at night .

The joys of being me !

Slept hardly at all last night ( moving the bubbler every twenty minutes to let everyone have a chance to breathe ) made some fat free nachos with ff American cheese ff refried beans n fresh salsa. ( I make the chips by cutting up corn tortillas dipping in Mac n cheese sauce mix and baking until crunchy)

I also ate a few handfuls of Cheerios towards morning .

No swimming this morning cuz had to run to buy plumbing parts first thing

B Chai tea Latte SF FF

L- Skirt steak fajitas w stir fried peppers and onions, ff sour cream , refried beans n cheese and salsa

S- ice milk bar and skinny cow mini ice cream sandwiches ( only 1.5 grams fat per sandwich - yippee yay ! Only leaner ones are the low-fat ones from Walmart which are both amazingly cheap and good )

D- Foraging in the freezer. Probably fresh mushroom soup since I still have some fresh mushrooms left , maybe a fresh plum fool ( spoon bread ? is that what its called here? made with part Kodiak flour and low sugar ( Truvia and brown sugar Truvia ) streusel.

S - maybe popcorn , chamomile tea

I have no WLS friends other than you here in Florida and haven't been to Overeaters Anonymous in NY since forever. But I never felt welcome there after having WLS - people are very judgy and the rooms are stuffed with WLS failures who will also freely express their frustrated opinions. So here is where I go for food and exercise accountability which really helps me.

I do still go to zoom AA meetings daily ( sometimes several )and they help and I also see a therapist who has a background in treating addiction holistically.

I find regular exercise really helps my mood and weight ... its almost like meditation in that sense.

If you want to go to OA or to Weigh****chers, then you can't tell them that you had surgery..
