Good Morning JB and Menuers,
I was able to get my run in before the rain and snow started so I am very happy about that. Looking like it will be the dreadmill for the next 2 days if the weatherman is correct. We will see.
I got terrible news that my housekeeper tested positive for Covid yesterday so no housekeeper for the holiday. Couldn't have come at a worse time. DH did do all the vacuuming and dusting and scrubbed the floors yesterday but she just does it a little better than he does. I guess at least I am saving money however I will feel bad and probably pay her double next time because I don't want her to not get paid because she is sick. It is her job so I know she depends on it. She was at my mothers last Monday but didn't start symptoms till Friday fingers crossed my mom does not get it. I went after work to let her know and my brother informed me that when she bowled 2 weeks ago there were 4 people who tested positive that were in the building. Not sure if they were in the bowling ally but so far so good. Fingers crossed.
JB glad you enjoyed your time off and that getting back into work has not been crazy. Cheering for you to get caught up by days end.
QOTD: I do go to an in person support group and I have a handful of them in my phone in case I need to reach out. I usually call the surgeons office that I am now seeing if it is medical question. There are also a few people here at work that have had WLS so if need be I can talk to them as well. But I will admit this is the best platform going to keep me in check.
Accountability: I had pork rinds, Russel Stover's SF peanut butter cup and Turtle

Sorry about the housekeeper. I hope she is better quickly and did not give it to your mom. I am staying away from people as much as possible. Ohio just started a 10:00 PM - 5:00 AM curfew, which will effectively close down the bars. I figure closings will be the next step later this week or early next week.

I Hope your housekeepers case is mild and very kind of you to realize how this will impact her $. If we had a better safety net, people could be sick and not have to choose between work and wellness. Maybe one day.
i hope your mom stays healthy. I imagine it's frustrating to both you and your brother that she isn't isolating. I've heard from a lot of people that they never expected to have to fight with their parents about science.

I never went back to caffeine after surgery. If I have a cup of caffeinated (like if they don't have decaf) I try and stay on decaf the next day so I don't get withdrawals
