What's your Monday Menu?
Morning! I am officially, officially done with school until January 19th. I need to get our dog into the vet for an allergy shot today. Otherwise, I don't have a ton of plans today. Work is slow because we just finished a development sprint and I have a little breather.
I think 4.5lbs over 16 months barely qualifies as regain! In the last two years I've I've had a minimum weight of 137 and a max of 145. I haven't tried to lose weight at all but just kind of flow around in that range. Right now I'm on the low end. Your surgeon is militant, especially with a pandemic, lol! I have heard of people gaining 15-30lbs since March
QOTD: Only singing along in the car. I can not sing or dance and don't do it often, lol.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x3
- Eggs scrambled with leftover brussels w/ bacon & an extra veggie
- Cilantro Lime Shrimp Lettuce Wraps

Well, I really gained 7 but have lost a little on my own prior the the visit. And lets not forget that I am 4'10", so 7 pounds on me is equivalent to 15 on anyone else! Sigh.
Good morning, Happy Monday!
QOTD - I sing, all the time. Badly.
Breakfast -fasting, so hot black coffee (only one cup, UGH) and water
Lunch - vegan hot dog, mustard, triscuits, vegan cheese. Tomatoes.
Snack - Smoothie, almond milk, frozen fruit, kale, mango, pineapple, turmeric, ginger, chia seeds, hemp seed hearts
Snack - lara bar (coconut cream)
Dinner - Gardein fishless filets, pasta and salad
Have a good day y'all.

Awesome! I bake them as directed, on parchment paper. 10 minutes each side. I usually eat them with tarter sauce, or ketchup, just like you would normal fish sticks. They aren't fishy per se, my hubs says they kinda remind him a little more of a chicken nugget? I really like them. I think they are super filling! Let me know what you think! They pair well with salads on the side, mac and cheese, etc. Really, just about anything!

Good Monday morning everybody!
JB - hope your re-entry is smooth. The way you were talking about regain I was picturing a minimum of 10lbs! Girl, you are doing great with 4.5 lbs. I go up and down 5 lbs in a week!
Well, DD is home and our home has come alive. There is more noise, more doors opening and closing, more water running, more dishes in the sink and I couldn't be happier. She talks constantly and fast, unlike DS, to the point I have to tell her to slow down because I can't follow what she says. She is also a very bad influence on my will power. She loves all snacks but one of those people who can take one and leave the rest alone...not me! Our pantry at the moment is like a fat trap for me.
QOTD: no singing because most of the time I'm not sure what the song is saying. But dancing all the time. I'm one of those people at the red light who is dancing with abandon in her car. Somebody said they sing even at the supermarket. We should form a band, because I dance if a song comes on that I like. My feet just start moving to their own accord.
My meals yesterday:
- B: Protein coffee
- L: chicken skewers + Fage yogurt
- S: TJ Joe Joe cookies, TJ peppermint ice cream, almost 1/2 a block of unexpected cheddar
- D: home made ragù , mine was on top of cauliflower rice
- E: rest day
Happy Monday!

Yep, regain stinks! I have 3.5-4 back...
This weekend was tough mood and food wise as it would have been DH's birthday yesterday. Hopefully I can stay in better shape today. We are at the beach as it is potentially the last really muggy day in this part of Florida. More usual fall weather looks like it arrives after today. Not so hot and not humid.
QOTD: I definitely sing and sometimes dance a little bit as long as no one is looking.
TSS: 4 years, 7.5 months
B: Coffee!!! Steel cut oats with PB2
L: tuna salad and cottage cheese
D: steak
S: cheesecake/strawberry yogurt pie (if I get it made)
