What's your Monday Menu?
Good morning JB and Menuers,
First and foremost my thoughts and prayers are with Janet for a speedy recovery. I have a friend who had this same situation a couple months ago and also had twisted bile about 2 years ago. You always think your doing right than this crap gets to you. I feel bad when anyone has to go through these types of health issues.
So My OBGYN put me on Effexor 35MG and even though it is a psych drug they said it will help with the hot flashes. After my run yesterday I took it. Didn't say I needed food or anything so I thought nothing of it. He said it may take time for it to build up in your body. Well in 25 minutes after taking it I was in a catatonic state and stayed that way for 2.5 hours. I couldn't move. I thought I could throw up and it would help but I had nothing in my stomach so that did not work at all. Wow it really threw me for a loop and didn't feel back to normal till about 8 last night. I am so glad I had nothing I had to do but make dinner because I would have had to cancel it was that bad.
My house keeper canceled for today she had to test for Covid and is now in quarantine. I hope she does not have it because I had her clean for mom last week. Ugh, my brother will not be happy if my mom gets it because of the housekeeper) however it was last Monday when she cleaned and my mom is showing no symptoms.

I am 225mg of the generic Effexor and it's the one causing my stomach issues. Glad that you didn't have much to do!

The only thing that I think saved me is the Tylenol 4s constipation effects. When I was off of the Tylenol it was rough.

That sounds like a scary reaction. Would things have changed if you had some food in you?
