Good Morning! I am finally on the other side of my house closing. Yay! 3 weeks until I close on the house in Florida. This week tying up loose ends, next week driving the east coast and visiting friends and week of Thanksgiving in Florida at Lauren's who I am moving by.
I am just starting to feel human again- I have been exhausted from moving and my body aches. Sitting at the mechanic getting my car checked before the trip. My car is packed I look like Jed Clampett from the Beverly hillbillies ....hahaha
QOTD: I have bought fit bits twice and ended up returning them. I never found them accurate to my step count.
Food: staying with other people so it is hard. Been living off Premier because it is easy, but far from my favorite.

Glad you are finally getting the house closing done. It has been quite a lot going on in your life the last few months, so no wonder you are tired. I bet it will feel great to finally get completely settled in just relax in your own bed again. Safe travels.

I'll be watching my two class lectures today (one I have to because he only has it available from noon-6:00 pm - the other guy keeps his up indefinitely, so I can watch his whenever). It's supposed to be in the 50s, so I'll probably go for a long bike ride this afternoon, too. And maybe a Zoom yoga class later this morning.
we're figuring out Thanksgiving. it looks like we'll just have my MIL here. My mom's senior living complex is delivering Thanksgiving dinners to their doors, so she's just planning on staying there even though I told her she can come over here if she wants. My sister and her husband are spending it alone at their house - and I don't know what my niece and her roommates are doing. At least we kind of know. I'll probably just pick up a turkey breast since there will just be the three of us (or possibly four if my mom changes her mind)
the virus is out of control here as well. DH and I were supposed to have hair appts next Tuesday, but I'm thinking of canceling. Our hairdresser is really careful with cleanliness and always wears a mask - and requires her clients to as well - but I'm still afraid of circulating air. She has her own small studio within a building, but there are other studios in the building. They're supposed to all follow the guidelines, but still.. DH and I will be staying in our house for the foreseeable future unless it's absolutely necessary to leave (except for outdoor exercise), so I don't really care about what our hair looks like.
QOTD: I had a Fit*****arge 2 for about five years, but I upgraded to a Charge 4 a couple of months ago. I like it - I love the GPS feature, although having it on means charging it every couple of days rather than once a week or so. I really don't need the fancy maps of my biking routes since I know where I went, although it's fun to see them.

MS: protein shake with either a little avocado or canned pumpkin added (I'm trying to increase my fat and fiber to keep me satisfied so I'm at less risk of overeating!)

D: 3-4 oz boneless chicken with a tomato/herb sauce

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
I was such a midnight muncher before surgery. My last house had the bedrooms and the kitchen on the same floor so it was nothing to sneak in the kitchen for a snack. I am glad this house the kitchen is a little further away and it does help keep me out of there on sleepless nights.
I am looking for a new headlamp today for when I run. I been wearing a lighted ballcap but I can't put it over my hoodie and now its cooler I need the hoodie to keep my cheeks and neck warm. Also on the schedule for the next 5 days is Mom duty. My DB and DSIL have gone out of town to visit relatives(not a smart idea in my book but...) so I have 100% responsibility for mom. Both of her bowling leagues have been canceled due to Covid tracings so I need to get over there take her dinner and give her some human interaction so she don't go bonkers. She is pretty easy to take care of so it should not be too big of a deal. She should be calling here in a bit to check in and I will tell her what I have planned for her dinner. I hope she likes it. She'll eat what I do I'll just add some carbs in to make her happy.
QOTD: I track with my phone. I only really track my runs so I have fitness pants with pockets and the I phone seems to be pretty spot on for what I have seen.
Accountability: I ate some potato chips that were Turkey and stuffing flavored from Aldi. I only had a few because they weren't giving me the turkey vibe I was looking for.

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been great. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Good morning from San Diego! Back to reality and my desk. My weight was up a half pound today, and I can live with that after ALL THE BITES I had in Vegas. Completely uneventful travel day yesterday other than being weirded out by how empty both airports were.
QOTD: I wear an apple watch and activate the the exercise tracker for actual activities meant to burn additional calories like biking or walking. I can't sleep with any jewelry on at all, so it's fine for me to strip it off and put it on the charger every night. My rings get taken off too.
Menu:
B: 3 oz ground beef, onion, 1/2 oz cheddar, 1/4 cup cottage cheese
L: homemade turkey chili with a sprinkling of cheese and a tbsp sour cream
D: Mongolian pork with cauliflower "fried" rice
Trying to avoid snacking today. And push fluids. I had a hard time getting in enough water while at my son's, and had a nasty headache last night as a reward.

Good afternoon to most. Another late post for me, but my puppy has been . . . there are no other words to describe him . . . an asshole. We've been on numerous walks, he had breakfast, but he's starving and won't stop jumping and biting. I can't wait until his permanent teeth come in. Anyway, although I've been up for 6 hours, I'm just getting the chance to sit down and do something other than deal with him and answer work emails.
QOTD: I have a fitbit Versa 2 and a Fitbit Ulta HR. I use the Versa when I run since it tracks interval splits, etc. and my Ulta for every day. Although I am considering switching to an Apple Watch.
My plan:
B: it was going to be an egg with cheese, but the puppy had other plans and with the way he was behaving the thought of turning on the stove with him being my sous chef was exhausting. So a handful of protein granola with a fairlife latte. The granola will cause an RH episode, but I knew that going in. Hopefully it won't be that bad.
L: Leftover "South of the Border" salad from a local restaurant. Lettuce/cabbage mix, tri tip, cotija cheese, pepitas, avocado and tomatoes.
D: no idea. I have parking lot spin tonight.
S: apple and peanut butter before parking lot spin
E: Parking lot spin, plus 3 additional songs. I rode with one of the instructors yesterday, but the recording cut off 3 songs from the end. They can splice the two recordings together so I'm going to redo the end of the ride from yesterday.
