What's on your Monday Menu?
Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Way late today I just stepped on th e office. I got stuck on the Highway for an hour in a construction zone. There was some emergency road work. It sucked. I love the meme today. I finally was able to adapt that into my life I just wonder how long it will last before I decide sleep is more important.
Weekend was beautiful but been just holding down the fort. We get invited out all the time but been doing our due diligence of staying home. I got notice my moms sister and her husband contacted it. My Uncle is in his mid 80'swith many underlying conditions so we will have to see how this plays out. People just quit caring and gave up. They went out to dinner with friends who they did not know had it now they all got it.
I did have to go to a funeral home for a viewing Sunday. I went in expressed my condolences. I did not shake a hand and deflected a lot of hugs stayed long enough to talk to all the key players and headed out. I bet I was there a total of 10 minutes. I really felt obligated to go. I been good with the mask and the hand sanitizing and cleaning it is the 6ft that I see being the biggest problem. People just walk in your space UGH!~ Hopeful it will stop soon.

Super late post for me, but I wanted to keep my weekday posting alive. It was a good weekend. We took Logan for his first bath and to the park for the first time. I had to tell the groomers that he's charming but has no manners. They did an amazing job and he looks beautiful. Sad that it's already Monday. Right around this time of the year I start to suffer from burnout. It's particularly bad since I've been at home since March 21. I haven't really taken any vacation. It's hard when your work is based on the billable hour and we have to bill 2000 a year. Taking time off means working overtime or the weekend to make the time off, which kind of defeats the purpose in my mind. I'm at 2032 for the year.
QOTD: I have a goal to start running again. Sadly since my fall in November 2018 I've been a little gun shy on the running. I think getting back to it would help my mind and my body image.
My plan:
B: An egg and a piece of canadian bacon
L: leftover chicken with mushrooms
D: tri tip and salad
S: 2 fairlife lattes (it was cold this morning and I wanted warm to drink)
E: Nothing today. The place where I spin is holding a turkey burn challenge, but with only 20 bikes available, classes are at a premium and I completely forgot to book. So all the classes are sold out and I'm on the waitlist for the entire week. Hmmm, this may be the week to work on my small goal.

That's insane! Do you get time off in December, given you're already over your # at mid November?

Good luck on the running thing. I just starting running since the pandemic and the gym closed. I am amazed at how it has helped me mentally and physically. I can absolutely understand being shy after a fall though. I hope it works out.
