I am SO not technologically adept ! I tried to copy a meme off the internet ...tried a hundred ways n could not do it ( sorry for the confusion) . Its funny it looks like it copied on my end ... then I submit to OH and it comes out crazy
So- plain post day

B- chai tea latte sf ff
High protein/Lower sugar dark Choc chip, toffee chip n eggnog cookies ( 1/2 high protein Kodiak flour from Costco - I'm in LOVE with this stuff - 1/2 organic choc chip cookie mix Whole Foods , vanilla, 1 egg, 2 tbs Butter buds , low-fat eggnog , Lilys low sugar low fat dark choc chips , Heath bar pieces , Truvia Brown sugar mix and regular SF Truvia sweetener to taste .
The edges bake up satisfyingly crispy thanx 2 the brown sugar, the cookies are tender and satisfyingly filling thanx to the protein flour . I've used Kodiak flour now in muffins, cookies , streusel and even a pie crust and you can't tell the difference from regular flour- except it fills you up !

If you had a chance to do it over what would you study ? Are you active or learning in that field now ?
I would definitely apply to art and drama schools like Yale or Cooper Union. And I would probably get a law degree ... just because its useful. Might still do it one day ... internet law degrees are coming !

Good morning folks.
Frankly I feel like **** this morning. I'd crawl back into bed but I hurt more in bed than sitting in a recliner. I've pulled something in my neck and shoulder on top of the back pain. I'm talented in hurting myself! LOL. My sinus issue is really bothering me. Sudafed isn't helping much(the real kind you buy from the pharmacy). It's just going to take time.
I can't wait for supplies to arrive to work on some orders. It's a good distraction for sure and it's fun. No big plans for the day. We may get the Christmas tree out. We have to let it sit unadorned for a while so the kitties get used to it. I say kitties but they are part demons LOL
qotd: I used to want to be a history teacher but I don't do well with teaching LOL. If I could be anything I'd be a cancer researcher or a DNA researcher. It fascinates me.

l: 1/3 cup chicken salad with pineapple and gf crackers
s: popcorn with 1 tsp olive oil

When I severely pulled my hamstring and butt muscle two weeks ago I could barely sleep nor sit down without massive pillowing for quite a few days...
because I don't like to take NSAIDS I googled natural arthritis pain relief and got a young sports and pain doctor's interesting ( if long winded )presentation . I think the title was 5 things to avoid eating that aggravate arthritis and 5 drug free and proven ways to relieve arthritis pain permanently . Quite a claim.
What to avoid - gluten, sugar, alcohol, processed food and barbecue !
Drug free pain cure - Devils Claw extract ( an herb- I purchased some at the Vitamin Shoppe ) ,Boswellia extract ( Indian Frankinsence used often in Ayurvedic medicine , Ginger , Cucurmin ( found in Turmeric ) and Hylauronic Acid .
It worked MIRACULOUSLY for me , much more so than aspirin ..but please keep in mind the power of suggestion.( in independent studies most people said placebos also work cuz' they want to believe they do )
hope U feel better
There is an evangelist who does miracle cures in a town close to me. One day, one of his followers gave me a book that he had written.
He told that he had a back injury that caused him severe pain. One day he went to a service and was healed of the pain. The next morning he work up and the devil told him that the pain was back. But he did not listen to the devil. The devil tells him every day that he is in pain, but he does not listen and believes in his miracle healing.

Mornin!
We've got coffee meetup #1 in 45 minutes and coffee meetup #2 right after that - so I need to get my butt in gear. I still need to shower and eat breakfast - but i may just take a protein bar with me. I'll bike this afternoon since it's another great day - plus I need it. It's been a couple of days.
QOTD: right now I'm auditing history courses through our local university, since I love history and at one time wanted to get a PhD in it (but was afraid I'd end up jobless or stuck in some awful place out in the middle of nowhere...). But I think if I had to do it again, I probably would have majored in biology. My college biology professor really encouraged me to do so, but at the time, I had other plans - and also, most people I knew who majored in biology back then ended up in labs dissecting rats. No thanks. But that was before the big genetics explosion with the humane genome project and all the DNA testing. Now I'd get that degree (bio or genetics) and work in that field, I think..

MS: protein shake and maybe an iced latte (with 2% milk and SF syrup)
L: chicken sausage - maybe a sweet potato with butter and Swerve brown "sugar"
AS: L&F with raspberries
D: turkey chili (??)
have a good day, folks!!
It is WINDY here - there are tropical storm warnings on both Florida coasts though it won't be terrible (25-35 MPH wind with gusts to 45). I am so glad the election has finally been decided and I hope that there is a concession speech at some point.
QOTD: Good question! When I was young I wanted to be a doctor but once I got older the thought of going to school so long made me discard the idea. In some ways, I wish I hadn't. I guess I do a lot of reading/researching about various ailments people close to me have so maybe I am sort of studying? LOL
Accountability: I didn't eat much yesterday but there was a shot of tequila with Mike's oldest friend. I am TOO OLD for that so a nap in the afternoon was required to survive it.
TSS: 4 years, 7 months
B: Coffee!!! 1/2 portion eggs Benedict (already consumed)
L: everroast chicken and laughing cow cheese
D: leftover veal parmigiana (1/2 portion)
S: cheesecake/strawberry yogurt pie

I drank two margaritas yesterday to celebrate. That led to a nap in the afternoon and very sick stomach last night. I guess I cannot get away with it anymore either. My favorite drink used to called a Pink Squirrel. It was creme de cacao, creme de almond, and vanilla ice cream and tasted like a chocolate milkshake. I used to make a pretty good imitation with a protein shake and sugar free syrups.

Good morning, been raining here for most of the last 24 hours. We sure need it and I just love sound and sight of it. Heading to Vegas in a couple hours. It's going to be 32 degrees there! I realized yesterday morning that I do have a warm coat in anything close to my size. I found a gorgeous one at my favorite Macy's, and between sale price and account discounts, I'm happy to say I not only did not pay a fortune but I also got a dream style that I never could have worn before. I am quite proud of myself for that little NSV.
We met with two sets of neighbors in one of their outdoor shops and celebrated with champagne last night. Perfect setting, sheltered from rain but with doors open and plenty of square footage for distancing. It was great to feel a little normal and to toast the upcoming ending of rhetoric and constant chaos. I also tried smoked salmon for the first time. I didn't die. Lol. It actually tasted fine, but I still have very suppressed taste buds so I may need to try that again later. Calorie and protein wise, it's a win.
food for the next three days is up in the air. I'm going to concentrate on protein and fluids and we'll see what the scale says on Thursday morning. I've been holding steady between 106 and 108 now for about 6 weeks. If I come home close to that range, I'll consider it a win.
QOTD: I honestly don't know. I certainly did not grow up dreaming of being an industrial supplies sales person, but man I sure do love my job. Maybe some sort of crisis care. I'm good to have around in a crisis.
Peace everyone!
