I hope your ankle finishes up healing quickly. Be careful not to get back on it too soon though. I did that with an injured knee when I used to run and made the recovery process MUCH longer.

Good Morning Julia and Menuers,
Congratulations on the stayation you deserve it. I have no plans to take time off anytime soon. However I found out my BFF will be coming in from California to visit for Thanksgiving. She still has family here so she will not be doing dinner with us but it will be great to see her.
Weather continues to be beautiful here so I plan to be out and about this weekend. Besides running I see a few flea markets in the paper I plan on checking out. I also have my bubble coming for the game Sunday so there will be cooking going on too.
QOTD: I love the BOHO look. I love Lucky brand. However I am very conscience of the textile pollution in the world filling up landfill with clothing so unless it is something very special everything I wear is 2nd hand. The dress in my photo today was actually free. Hopefully I'll find some fun things at the flea market this weekend. However I have always admired the Jackie O look and tried to emulate it in my wedding attire.
Accountability: I was terrible last night. I stuffed dates with blue cheese and wrapped them in bacon and they were way to good and on top of eating those I ate a bunch of dates when I was making them. Also pizzellas whipped cream apples and string cheese. Nothing terrible but way to many calories.

Good morning! Happy Friday -- my last day of work too for a few days. Flying over to Vegas on Sunday to spend a couple days with my oldest son. This always includes lots of amazing food, and my plan is to just not order food for myself, and nibble off of their plates. They'll share and then I get a bit of lots of flavors. Now if only my sense of taste would return...
We are expecting a big storm this weekend and everyone is up in arms. Rain! What shall we do? LOL. I asked the hubs to clean out the fireplace and I have a Cricut project I hope to complete tomorrow. And then if things go a certain way, I plan on sharing a nice bottle of bubbly with my like minded neighbors tomorrow night. Fingers crossed over here.
QOTD: I'd really like to rock a pencil skirt and heels. And I did buy one that I like very much. But my office is pretty casual, so I'm not sure where I am going to wear this thing. I have discovered that heels are ever so much easier to wear 90 something pounds lighter. But my comfort zone is office dress slacks, boot cut, and a sweater.
Menu:
B: canadian ham, light string cheese, egg microwave "omelet"
L: chicken tendor, 1 slice bacon, 1/4 C refried beans and a little cheese sprinkled on
D: thinking charcuterie plate. Need to use up cheeses in the fridge.
Peace everyone!
