Whats on your Thursday Menu?
I only took two at a time. My school only offered up to 4th year Spanish, so after that, I switched to German (and continued with the French). I took all three my first year of college, though, because I placed out of Spanish and French. So if I took a 300-or higher-level class of each and got at least a C in them, I'd get 12 extra credits (for each language) for the semesters I placed out of....totally worth it since it meant skipping my sophomore year.

Good morning everyone! It's a blustery and rainy day in the PNW. I have a dental appointment this morning. Something is up with one of my back molars.
I was up at 12:30 this morning. I am thankful that I got back to sleep for a few hours. Why can't I just sleep through that night?
Food accountability has been off and on. Somedays, I am 100% and somedays, I eat all the things that I shouldn't. I am a grazer! I have got to get better and get my crap together.
QOTD/JB- I loved Home Ec. I also loved welding and woodshop.
QOTD/Chrissy- Remember Susan Powder?? The lady that was all about eating all of the carbs?? I liked her. LOL!
Food plan for the day-
Eggs and cottage cheese
I have a chicken from Costco that I need to eat on
Crab cakes. I am going to try a new recipe that doesn't have bread crumbs.
Has anyone heard an update from Janet?? Also, I have not seen Karen post. I wonder if they are somewhere with no service?

I have also wondered about Janet and Karen. Hoping Karen is just away from an internet connection.

I LIKED Susan Powter ( though she was the Queen of Obnoxious in so many ways lol ! )
She looks absolutely STUNNING today ...BTW .. the main reason she can't get back on TV ( but I'm not sure she cares .. she went on to enjoy a totally different life I believe )
( Cruising the world with a hott, attentive young guy is how it Started I heard somewhere - isn't that on all our bucket lists ?) I think she eventually got married and maybe had a baby too ?
You would NOT recognize her in person ... she looks THAT different . I'm sure there are pics on the internet.
She's living proof that you can TRULY remake your body and your life even when you're "older" and come from big numbers .
Good Morning and happy Friday-Eve! I've been too busy during the day this week to really follow the news much which is probably a good thing. Today is payday but I'm hoping it's much smoother than the last one.

Yes but since you asked I will explain. I waitress in my 20's and this was the signature dessert at the restaurant. I wanted the recipe so bad but the owner who was a dear friend really refused to give it out. One Sunday her wait staff was short and she was begging me to come in. I said if when I get there the recipe is on the bar I will work. I been making this cake ever since it was 1985 even before pumpkin was popular. Also they no longer make Zwieback toast so I use ginger snaps. If you can not read it or want it in a file just PM me your email and I'll send it.
