What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Mornin' All!
not much sleep last night. I had the BBC Radio on all night (well, I always do - but this time I actually woke up several times and LISTENED carefully to it). I know there's still a chance, but I'm sick about this. But it'll likely be a few more days before we know for sure, so I need to try to get back to as normal a life as possible. I'm just sick at the thought of four more years of Trump, though. I can't do this...
did well accountability-wise yesterday - and weight was lower this morning than it's probably been in a year. Sometimes when this happens it'll bounce back up a couple of pounds the next day, but eventually, it'll come back down and settle at the new, lower weight. I hope it will this time, too. It was so exciting to see that new, lower weight!!
QOTD: cardio for sure - but mostly biking, cardio dance, and water aerobics. Too bad the last one is "out" for the time being. I used to really like yoga, too, and I still do it occasionally, but I kind of burned out on it. I've never liked strength-training but force myself to do it - but not often enough since I'm not a fan. At all.
TSS: 5y5m
B: piece of protein pumpkin pie, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: cottage cheese with diced mango
AS: probably L&F yogurt and a light English muffin with light cream cheese
D: Indian butter chicken
have a great day, everyone!
Good morning. I'm with you all on the not much sleep thing. And when I did I had awful dreams. I wanted to kill my husband dead with his snoring last night. He had a sleep study last week, and I cannot wait for the results. Ugh. I'm tired, cranky, very stressed and very disappointed at this point. I need to blast some music and concentrate on work to help my attitude.
QOTD: cardio usually. But not much more than walking or biking. I've discovered yoga this year via youtube and I definitely love it. I need to get myself on a schedule to participate in more classes, but, actually, I'm too lazy to do it yet. I'll keep doing what I can when I can.
Menu:
B: 1 slice Canadian bacon, 1/2 pc string cheese, 1 egg, microwave omelet style
L: Salad with some grilled chicken
D: homemade tilapia fish tacos, refried beans, sour cream crema, hold the tortilla
Peace everyone. I'm hoping for the best, bracing for the worst.

We discovered my husband has sleep apnea through a friend of his. I never thought anything of it when he stopped snoring mid snore. But he was at a weekend get away with his buddies and one of them told him he seems to be stopping breathing. I always joke with this friend that he robbed me of the life insurance I was planning on spend.

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
I am actually a very patient person so the wait does not bother me. I didn'****ch any election coverage just what I saw this morning on CBS. DH on the other hand. Worse than a kid. I still have never received a gift on my Birthday or Christmas. No matter how many times I say no I'll wait he has to spoil and give it to me early. Drives me crazy. Guess that is what I get for marrying a youngen.
QOTD: I have been limited to Cardio and since the pandemic I have just been running but started back to the gym last week for and upper body workout on Tuesday and a leg workout on Thursday. I really miss classes though. I wish there were more available in my area. I envy Jen and her workouts.

Like most athletes I never met a sport I didn't like ... but rollerblading speed skate style and swimming and fast walking are my three current favorites .
I can't go to a gym in a mask - or take a yoga class in a mask I wouldn't be able to breathe. But I do like hot yoga .
I own a reformer in NY and I'm sorry to admit I never used it once so far . It lives in the shed - I hope I still have all the pieces so I can set it up when I get back .
I like the results of weight training but haven't done it in a long time and am afraid to touch the equipment now so that's out .
Machines I own - rowing ( love ! Great for posture n abs ) Teeter - great for posture n abs - machine I want is the ab roller but it's SO huge and unfoldable .
Walmart sold an excellent on-the-floor inexpensive ab machine a few years ago - does anyone remember the name ? I want to buy one on the secondary market so bad !
