What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good morning all. I'm trying to function this morning while still half asleep. Can't believe it's only Wednesday. I'm so ready for the week to be over. accountability was decent yesterday. 3 pounds down and 4 more to go to lose this damn regain. I refuse to gain anymore. I just feel like I'm alway hungry. I've been drinking more hot tea during the day which helps a bit.

I decided to make yesterday a total cheat session while I watched the election results. I so much wished I could have had a lot of people over for a party. So I picked up a bottle of light margarita mix, a bag of salami pieces, a Herlocher's dipping mustard, and some cookies. I salted the rim on the glass for the margarita. I blended the margarita mix with ice, made a plate of cheese and salami, and skipped dinner.
I drank part of a second margarita, ate more cheese and salami, and then was too sick feeling to want anything else. This was at 7:00 PM, and I still felt sour stomach when I gave up and went to bed around 2:00 AM.
Today I am up three pounds and it is on the water weight part of the smart scale. It is going to take a few days to get over that splurge. I can probably still count on one hand the number of alcoholic drinks I have had in the 13 years since surgery.

If there was ever a day to cheat with cookies and margaritas, I think you picked wisely!

The results so far are not what I was hoping for this morning... We will see how it goes.
Mike and I had a great day at the beach in Boca Grande yesterday. It was very windy but warm and hardly anyone was there. We went to the local Mexican Place to get tacos at Taco Tuesday prices. They were good, but I think had lots of sodium plus I had a lot of guacamole and some wine, so not a good day accountability wise. Today we are going to Sanibel and Captiva which is where Mike usually spends a week at Thanksgiving with his kids (not this year). It should be another nice day weather wise.
QOTD: I walk at least 3-5 miles a day and I hope to keep that in my repertoire forever. I do like yoga, but like you am not good at doing it at home. I enjoyed kayaking this summer, but having to go rent one here tends to stop me (not a good excuse).
TSS: 4 years, 7 months
B: Coffee!!! Scrambled eggs and cottage cheese
L: Everroast chicken and laughing cow cheese
D: Out to dinner - it is our dating anniversary
S: cheesecake/strawberry yogurt pie

Good morning to all...
all I can say is wow and that I'm disappointed with my fellow Americans. Just wow.
I've not slept much. Not because of the election but I woke up with pain a lot. My shoulders have decided to start hurting a lot. I see my PCP on the 24th and I'm going to ask for some testing for lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. The lupus is just as a precaution since my grandma had it. The ra for the amount of pain I have not only in my back but in a lot of joints.
I did manage to get my tutorial are last night. Will have a couple of people test it today and see if I need to change it up. I find making these tutorials so stressful. I worry about it so much. All I can say is I could say is I would never be a good teacher! Pic below of the one I made for the tutorial.
qotd: cardio...I used to love work out videos with dance and also my stationary bike.
b: oatmeal and coffee
s: gf bread with plant based butter
l: 2 ozs chicken breast and squash from last night
s: popcorn and maybe a tbs of peanut butter
d: not sure yet
s: maybe a cup of coffee somewhere during the day.

Those colors are stunning! LMK when the tutorial is done. I have a friend locally who does a lot of chainmaille stuff and he might be interested!

That's so cool you know another chainmailler! How cool!
I'm such a geek with it. I have yet to meet any other maillers in real life. Will let you know!
