I wish more long term post ops would come and post regularly. Most just pop in once a year for the "it's been 9 years" or "I gained it all back" posts, but I wish more people could hear the day to day ups and downs and regains and successes because this surgery is not really about the first three years--it's about using those first years to get good at this, so you know what to do after the magic disappears!

I find those so annoying too. But I don't waste my time telling them. Sometimes Kim does and I laugh.

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Well Congratulations on 12 years JB. It really is great to see that you have had such great success. It scares me when I go to support and the people who are struggling to get back to where they were. You are proof that is can be done as long as you keep everything in check. I love coming here for the accountability and being encouraged by all of the vets who are out there killing it.

I think I am going to file a BBB Report against Hopper for the ticket I purchased to go to OH conference. I have never heard from them even after numerous emails and they have no way to contact them. I did get the ticket canceled through the airline but they never did anything for me. We will see. I still have credit for AA for next year if there is a conference. Fingers crossed.

QOTD: Jason Derulo; Savage Love. They play it every 3rd song on the pop station I listen to.

I use the BBB when nothing else works and they always get things taken care of for me.

JB: You are so pretty in your before picture and I bet many people told you that you did not need surgery. I am glad you did it for your health.

I watched a Dolly special on Netflix this week. Now I have Eagle When She Flies playing in my head. I used to get up on Saturday and put that song on replay while I cleaned the house. It still gives me hope and energy.

Julie and I are going to be text buddies today for the election reports. If anyone wants to join us, you are welcome. Send me a message with your cell phone number so we can stay in touch for whatever happens.
