Mornin' All!
we voted back in September, but my mind is all on the election today. I feel a really stressful day coming on because of it - so afraid of what Trump is going to do tonight. Well, and the results, too. I know the odds are strongly on Biden's side, but we all remember what happened in 2016. Ugh. So I have lots of exercise lined up to keep a lid on the stress - Zoom Pilates at 8:00, probably Zoom yoga at 9:00, a long bike ride this afternoon (it'll be in the high 50s - YAY!!), a Zoom strength training class at 5:00. I also have my three university classes today to boot. So my schedule is PACKED!
QOTD: I'm a tune sponge, but nothing in my brain at the moment.
accountability was great yesterday, thankfully! Weight was OK this morning.
TSS: 5y5m out today!
B: coconut Greek yogurt with 1/2 diced mango, coffee with half & half
MS: protein pumpkin iced latte
L: I have a chicken sandwich on my proposed menu (with 35-calorie bread and light mayo), but I'm now thinking a piece of peanut butter toast and a thing of L&F yogurt. Not in the mood for a chicken sandwich - or at least not now. The switch would be about the same amount of calories, less protein but more fat. But that's OK...
AS: pumpkin yogurt
D: If I have time, I'm going to make (Indian) butter chicken in my Instant Pot (Christopher Kimball's recipe). If not, I may have that chicken sammie for dinner. Or a veggie burger on a slim bun
ex: lots!!
have a great day, everyone! I hope we're all happy with the election results tomorrow! (well, if they're even available - they might not be!)
Good morning, everybody!
Congratulations on your 12 year anniversary, JB.
I had my doctor's appointment yesterday. He said that he thinks I may have had a bacterial blood infection from the dental work. That would explain why I got so sick six weeks ago.
My weight is now back from that, so I have to make sure that I don't keep on going up. Menu is tentative, because the cupboard is pretty bare this morning.
QOTD: Well, of course It's a hard Knock Life is playing in my head now.
Breakfast: protein bar
Lunch: Mahi burger
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

So how does one get a bacterial blood infection from dental work? Did they do something wrong? I am not one to generally fear the dentist, but I sure do want to avoid whatever you went through!

I'm not really sure, but I assume that some bacteria from mouth got in to my bloodstream as they were putting in the post.

Ouch! I remember how sick you were. One of many reasons I don't want to go to the dentist!
