I KNOW I know ... I know all the nutz for a REASON but I swear to you- I have a ( you'd think she was normal looking at her - she actually has her own longtime TV show and is quite successful )
this girlfriend of mine who lives on the tony and horribly expensive Upper East Side of Manhattan, literally steps from the East coast equivalent of Rodeo Drive , Madison Avenue claims there has been riot after riot for MONTHS under her very windows and on her street.
All I know is that SO MANY townhouses are empty and boarded up /shuttered from the inside and most high end stores in Manhattan ( including Trump Tower ) are too... in any case she has bought ...not one ... not two but THREE guns lately ... and is planning to park herself , I kid you not , opposite her apartment door with a rifle loaded with high destruction bullets pointed at it tonight!! ( and a pistol in her pocket ) .
Yep and she has been squirreling pet food ...and I suppose people food too ... the only reason I know is she asked me to drive her as like most Manhattanites she has no car.
Oy Vey ... im glad I live on the beach ... at least kitty and I can run away
Good Morning! I want to see bouncing penguins so badly. So this weekend I rolled my ankle on a magnolia cone at the very beginning of my run. Luckily, I was only about 4 houses down from my house so I hobbled home and have been resting/icing/elevating and compressing it all weekend. It is badly swollen and now is bruised this morning but I am glad I didn't break anything.
Accountability: Not bad for the weekend.

Sending healing vibes your way. So sorry about that ankle. I been nervous about running in the dark because of everything falling off the trees. I can see me slipping on all the fallen leaves. My Sunday run I had to dodge all the dropped candy on the road. If I would have picked it all up I would have had a garbage sack full.

No! So sorry to hear that you hurt yourself--that's terrible. Can you get yourself on crutches for work so that you don't have to put any pressure on it?
