These clams you encounter sound very scary. I don't think I would eat them...if they are mutants you could be irradiated.
Love the pix from the family visit!!

OMG....I don't think I can ever go in the ocean again, knowing I'm sharing it with that.

It's called a geoduck and they're native to the beaches of Seattle . They're quite expensive and difficult to cook - the " foot " is the part that's cooked and first it's peeled then tenderized kind of like a large octopus leg . Similar in taste and texture to octopus in my opinion .
Now that is gross looking!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Oh Halloween how the tides have turned. I love giving candy and seeing the kids but no way in hell am I taking the chance of getting Covid from a snot nosed little kid. I am sure these parents can buy them candy. I am confused as to why a parent would take the risk. Hence the shirt I am wearing today.

Ok so it was cold and wet this morning so I succumbed to the dreaded treadmill. I got 3 miles in but not as rewardeing as the great outdoors.
QOTD: I have definitely been cursed to not filter. It just comes out no matter what it is. Most times I don't even realize till I get an eye roll or someone starts crying and I am like What? What? I made DH cry on our first date with my broken filter. I still laugh he still gets mad.
Accountability: Great I am back to what I weighed last Friday. It took a while this week. But I did miss exercise on Monday do maybe that contributed.
