SO fun about the Antarctica trip. My former professor/mentor/dear friend and I have talked about going together for a long time. Its definitely a bucket list trip and I hope we get to do it together. She just turned 70 but she's still in better shape than I have ever been, so as of now it is still in the realm of possible. It's so expensive though! I'm worried about putting money down if things are not guaranteed.
I thought about putting candy out but I am 100% sure it will go into the pocket of my teenage neighbors before anyone else gets to it and if I wanted to buy them a bag of candy, I would, lol.

2022 is far enough away that I'm comfortable with it and there's a "reschedule option" that we could use if we needed to move to 23 so that helps. I will wait to book any airline tickets for a long time though, you know they never provide flexibility, lol

We have Viking credits from our cancelled Portugal cruise and, yesterday, we were just looking at putting a hold on the Mississippi River trip for 2022.

Antarctica will be fantastic. What a great thing to look forward to. I have almost never given out Halloween candy. I lived on a busy road where very few Trick or Treaters would come. Many three to five every year. So I just turned the lights off and quit doing it.
Now I live where I would get hundreds of kids. Their parents bring them in cars from other areas. I still turn off the lights. We are at code red and trick or treating was cancelled weeks ago. I know people who are taking their kids to other towns to make sure they get to trick or treat, but most of them are going to have candy and scary movies at home.

JB, what halloween movies will you be watching? I am thinking that I will watch the whole new season of the Mandalorian...but then I've heard good feedback on the Blye Manor series (sequel-ish to Hill House); so likely I will get through one of those over the whole weekend.

Bly Manor was really good! I liked Hill House better, and it took me awhile to get into this one, but it has a very satisfying ending.
Grim is a HUGE scaredy cat, so we'll do something tame like Hocus Pocus...maybe Double, Double, Toil & Trouble with the Olsen Twins? Haha, I don't even think he could handle Coraline. Meanwhile I love the scary stuff, so its incentive to watch it on my treadmill alone.

I mean, I don't like slasher movies, really. Seeing Texas Chainsaw Massacre at a sleepover in 5th grade really effed me up when I was a kid...but I am all in for anything that gives me the goosebumps and a good unexpected jump!

Yeah the end got me right in my feels!
I can tell Henry has a good agent--he definite picks really strong scripts and roles that he is perfect for!
