I am closer to mountains than the coast. We get a lot of what Denver gets as we tend to be down slope of them. Not as drastic of course but we do get snow pretty much every year if we're not in a drought.

Snack - Yogurt with chia seeds and hemp seed hearts
Dinner - Up in the air, but it's cold, neither hubs or I feel like cooking so something yummy!

I am the helper too, but I am given jobs like "shim girl" and other completely non-consequential roles. He knows not to put me in charge of anything that could light on fire, spill or generally cause any damage at all. I am not graceful apparently.

Mornin' Everyone!
well, as expected, my PCP was not concerned about my weight. Unfortunately, according to the height thing on their scale, I've lost an inch since my last physical 18 months ago, making me a few more pounds overweight than I'd calculated (I was basing it on being 5'6", meaning I'm about 3 lbs overweight. I'm thinking I may have just not been standing up straight enough on their scale. I have osteoporosis, and I'm starting to lean forward a bit - although who knows - maybe I HAVE shrunk). Anyway, that's neither here nor there because she's not concerned. Besides, she said she's seen a lot of patients who've gained a few pounds since the pandemic started. There was a med student in there with her (they asked me first if it was OK if he was there). I swear the guy looked like he was 16 years old. I'm getting old...
I'm going to do my gym's "Cardio & Strength" Zoom class for seniors at 9:00. It's supposed to be in the high 40's today - and high 40s/low 50s for a several day stretch, so I'm going to do as much biking as I can tolerate. I'll head out and do it this afternoon, in fact. I also have Mah Jongg later on this morning, as well as a Zoom discussion section with the other senior auditors in one of my classes. I'm really looking forward to that! The regular students have small discussion sections every week with the TA, but we auditors haven't had one until now. I'm glad the professor decided to do one, because they're not required to do it for the auditors. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone!
QOTD: I'm somewhat handy, especially with electronics. As far as other things, I can often figure out how to do small jobs by watching youtube videos. DH doesn't tackle those kinds of projects, but he's good at things like painting and yardwork.
TSS: 5y4m
B: piece of protein pumpkin pie with Maple whipped cream (Aldi's had their seasonal whipped cream out the other day - pumpkin spice and maple vanilla - I bought a can of each. They actually have fewer calories than light Cool Whip does). Coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: chicken sausage, 1/4 C sweet potato casserole, and a pear
AS: probably some homemade pumpkin spice hummus on a graham cracker, since I'm hooked on it. Or L&F yogurt with raspberries.
D: salmon with Thai cucumber salad
have a great day, everyone!!
