What's on your Wednesday Menu?
on 10/28/20 2:18 am
Hey Everyone! How's it going? I have nothing... how is it only Wednesday? Wednesdays are a pretty heavy meeting day for me, so at least it should fly by! I actually feel better this morning!!! That earache, headache, and cough that keeps coming and going definitely feels better today.
Today's high is only going to be 55 degrees, but maybe I will go for a brisk walk this afternoon? I think the rain is supposed to clear up, and we are expecting snow by Friday so I want to get out before then! It's funny--I usually have a camera roll filled with pictures of beautiful fall leaves but this year since I really haven't gone future than the grocery store, I don't have any! I need to grab some pics before they are all on the ground!
QOTD: Are you "handy" around the house? I am definitely not. Changing batteries is about as handy as I get, haha. Before I met Grim, I did manage to build a ton of complicated IKEA furniture on my own...I used to think that was really impressive, but now watching Grim redo entire houses from with everything from painting, flooring, drywall, electrical and plumbing, is just incredible.
I had a perfect day with food yesterday, but I barely moved off my butt at all, so I can't call it a perfect day. Hope to nail it today!

Good morning all! Wish I could go back to bed, wake up and it be the weekend already. Yesterday was so stressful and hectic with work. We were super busy and to top it all off my internet kept going in and out all day long! I was ready to just pull my hair out and cry. I sure hope today is an improvement!
Accountability was good yesterday. Stuck to plan and kept my calories low, but the scale seems to be stuck. It's not moving and I'm kicking myself for eating so badly over the weekend! It's funny how it can take me weeks to lose a single pound, but yet gain 6 pounds after a weekend of going off plan. Sigh...Now these pounds don't want to go away!
QOTD: no, I'm not the least bit handy. I mean I could figure something hung out if I really had to. It would just take me 10x longer than someone who knew what they were doing! Lol
B: coffee w/Splenda & sf creamer x 2

I hear ya sister on the Gain to loose ratio. It is such a struggle to get that weekend bump off. For all of those who think it's easy because of the surgery you are crazy. This is a lot of work.

hi all
worked yesterday, gym, then more work, have an issue we can't solve so that is tough and frustrating since we are getting tons of emails and calls... had to try to do renegade rows at gym yesterday and body would not cooperate... ended up planking for the exercise which was just as tough.
QOTD: your grim and my DH are so alike, I don't think there is anything he has not been able to do. maybe one or two times we called a plumber or electrician but the rest he has done. When we had to rerun the plumbing under the house he did almost all of that himself. I really think he needs to be an 'off grid' builder/tiny home designer. he would love that... I'm not that great at most things but I try..
food plan: low points again today
b: coffee/eggs/slice of 35 cal bread
b2: yogurt/1/2 apple? or something like it

Good morning! Today is another hot, muggy day in Florida. We had a good beach day yesterday, then out for short-rib Tacos at happy hour prices ($4). We had to do it, right? I just had one and it was great, but there were those glasses of wine.
Today I meet Mike's FBI son. Should be interesting? I am already worrying about what to wear.
QOTD: I think "handy" can be a relative term so I am not surprised that you don't feel like you are with Grim's skills to compare to. I always felt handy because DH was definitely not, but I am limited. I too can put together IKEA stuff and many children's toys. I can also do small electrical like replacing light switches, ceiling lights and rewiring a lamp. No plumbing though. I do paint and can wallpaper though I have done more removal than installation of it over recent years.
