Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Funny I had a chaotic Monday as well. 1st I did not run because I was not feeling well with acid reflux, I am just glad it did not persist. Then I was trying to figure out why my Sewage bill is not coming to my email and why on there end it fails. ( Here is a reason I should have had kids) I hate the computer. Then I was super busy with orders here at work never even got to take a lunch. Then at 4:00pm DB called to let me know Mom needed to take something bowling tonight and I had to whip up something for her. Now I was with her all weekend but she never mentioned it till yesterday afternoon and she needs it for today. UGH. So instead of getting caught up on my run I ended up at Aldi getting ingrediencies for her Appetizer to take to bowling. I made her ranch roll ups because they have liked them in the past. I had to let them sit overnight before I cut them. So after I ran this morning I got them cut and plated. DH will take them to her so she has them when she leaves for bowling. I hate when life gets in my way. Hoping to have a less stressful day today. I plan on hitting the gym for an arm workout if everything goes my way.

QOTD: Have animals talk to me so I can understand them? I believe they already understand us. I've seen my late Dog Ceaser roll his eyes at me more than once in his lifetime.

Accountability: Terrible I ate way to many dates , figs peanut butter, and I grazed dinner instead of making a plate.

Good morning, everybody!

So in addition to the expected yard signs, we have a ton of signs for County Coroner in our neighborhood. I presume that the candidate must live near us, given the multitude. Otherwise he has spent a fortune on yard signs for an office that nobody knows about.

Most of my knowledge of coroner's comes from watching CSI, but I had no idea that it was an elected office. I can't imagine spending money to get a job that requires one to work in a morgue cutting up dead people all day long. I think that I would spend money not to have to do that.

And I was also surprised to see that their is party affiliation. Unless one was actually seeking to be the Coroner that dissect Geoffrey Epstein, I can't see how party affiliation could impact that job.

I have a 10:30 video call this morning, so I need to take a shower this morning.

QOTD: I'm afraid that I finish last place in the animal talkie spectrum. Ig guess that I would prefer to talk to wild as opposed to domestic animals if given the choice. And, I'm with Hilary on the poop eating. You can't tell me that you are smart if you eat your own poop.

Breakfast: Protein bar

lunch: Bratwurst

Dinner: Pork loin

Have a great day all!

Two weeks until we head down. I'm waiting to see if they send my son back to remote learning. If they do, I think we are all driving down together. If not, I'm flying down by myself. It's snowing this morning.

good morning! Getting started a bit late today as yesterday brought about a COVID test for me and I am work from home until I get the results. I feel almost fine, a bit stuffy, but have lost my sense of taste and smell. But it's October! That is allergy month for me. My co-partner at work asked me to weigh in on the side of caution and go take the test. I only had to wait 5 cars to get it done, but they said the response time is 3-5 days. When I actually whimpered out loud at that, she said they are usually coming in much quicker. Fingers crossed.

I actually ate a high amount of calories for me yesterday. Nearly double my average, and the highest by far since surgery. My weight is down this morning. I'm thinking that it was a combination of very healthy choices, my body actually happy that I fed it a bit of carbs and fats, and my body maybe working a little overtime since I'm not feeling 100 percent. Or, I will have gained three pounds tomorrow and I'll be crying in my fake coffee.

QOTD -- I'd love them to talk to me. Mine seem pretty damn good at understanding me. Sometimes they flip a paw at me, but yeah, they know what I said. But to have them talk back? Especially the one tha****ches TV and "talks" to it. I'd love to know what is inside his brain at those moments.

QOTD #2 -- Music definitely changes my mindset. I'm more of country, show tunes, 60's kind of girl. But a tough day at work calls for Pandora show tunes and in an hour I'm singing along and surging my work with the tempo of the music. I've said this before, because I truly mean it. Music is good for the soul. Like sunshine.

Menu:

B: 2 oz ground pork, 1/2 lite string cheese, 1 egg -- omelet style

L: 2 babyback ribs and a 1/3 cup spaghetti squash au gratin

D: chicken thigh tacos, elote corn dip, and ??? I hate the thought of making something yummy when I can't taste it. Maybe I'll change this to letting the hubs order pizza and I'll eat leftovers.

Peace, everyone!

Did they give you an app to check your results? I got my results via the app a full day before they called to tell me I was negative.
