What's on your Tuesday Menu?

One point is approximately 50 calories, so 16 is 800 per day. That is also where I lose the best on any plan.

Well that picture made me chuckle!

Don't worry about my comments on adjusting (yet). We are finally in a place where there is structure and it is at the home of a guy who has lived alone for the last 15 years, so some issues are inevitable. We will just have to see how it plays out. Next week we will probably go to my place and the roles will be reversed.

Accountability: The only thing off plan yesterday was a few peanuts after two weeks of eating out daily. Yeah!

QOTD: I think our pets already understand a LOT, so I would love to be able to hear from them. Sometimes when Justice stares at me and ****s his head I just KNOW he has something important to say!

TSS: 4 years, 7 months

B: Coffee!!! Light bread French toast

L: Everroast chicken and laughing cow cheese

D: fish tacos (taco Tuesday)

S: strawberry vanilla yogurt pie

it always seems to be a major adjustment to go from being alone to partnered - and vice versa. The first few months after Greg moved in with me could be tough at times. Different habits. But we made it through... Good luck to you - Mike seems like a great guy!

I def and DELIBERATELY listen to music to help learn, motivate and make FUN harder ( and longer ) workouts ... and even to relax ( classical)

Learning- Philip Glass or Steve Reich

Workout- Free on Spotify BEAST Mode Mix , 70s Disco, Gay Disco Favorites, Detroit Techno ..Euro Basketball Techno ( yep they play street cage ball to music there - its great fun, literally bouncing off the walls !)

Classical- I'll try anything once but Maria Callas and Mozart and Gregorian Chants are my faves. My Dad set up the most amazing sound system when I was a kid a million years ago and carried it through three homes - I'm STILL not allowed to touch it but he listens sometimes all day long to what sounds like Angels lol

They say listening to music helps your memory, your creativity ... your energy and happiness levels. I find it to be true .

Dinner last nite - very late - cold cut plate again- Pastrami Turkey, Marinated Roast Beef Eye Round, Corned Beef Top Round ( all Boars Head ) with all visible fat removed and given to Tilly the cat who I suspect is preggo cuz she's starting to resemble a basketball on feet and demands feeding and pets at least eight times a day

Marinated Artichoke hearts from Whole Foods - my latest food addiction Late afternoon snack - 2 ice milk bars from Yasso

Midnite/ Early morning snack - Chai tea latte and apple cinnamon Cheerios . Way too many and now I feel queasy ! Resolved- never eat in bed again!

L- leftover green bean casserole , perhaps a light chicken / pumpkin/ fresh pea soup, chicken breast parmesan lite ( w homemade sauce and fat free mozzarella ) or fixed with a lemon sauce ( fat free of course) . Hungarian homemade cucumber pickle .

S - Greek Salad ( actively craving it - isn't that weird ?) w FF dressing, homemade tzaziki

D - TBD

S- ice milk bar

exercise - no swim today and am tired from trading since 3 am - maybe a beach walk then walk w my sponsor.

Making new safer rollerblades today ( shorter wheelbase so easier to maneuver) and finishing cleaning ( finally )

Good Morning! Your meme cracked me up! Glad you were able to move your vacation out a week. I won't have vacation hours to take for a long time which feels so odd since I always used to be closed to capping out too. It did help soften the financial stuff though since it got paid out when I got laid off so I can't complain.

Accountability: typical day

QOTD: I think I'd want to understand them.

TSS: 6 years, 2 months

B: SF latte, Pear, Quaker protein/fiber oatmeal and turkey sausage

L: Tri tip, small salad, and a honeycrisp apple

ES: carbmaster yogurt with ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 mile treadmill run and half hour elliptical

V/W: On track

Wow surprised you have little to no vacation. That would have been a deal breaker for me. I can't believe you did not negotiate a least a few days. Crazy. Hopefully time will fly and you'll have vacation soon.

I will get time eventually after a waiting period. But going from 5 weeks "on the books" to nothing is strange for me.

I know how you feel-I had 6 weeks of time off between jobs and I was paid so it should have been a vacation but since I was still applying and worried, it just didn't feel like a vacation.

Right?!? And, I couldn't go anywhere but I'm grateful I didn't have to wait any longer.

Good morning, and happy Taco Tuesday!

QOTD - I would love for them to understand me, but truly, I don't think my heart could handle hearing what they have to say in return. I went vegan not for my health, but for the animals. I will leave it at that.

Also, it's freaking cold here!

Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee, lots of water

Lunch - Soyrizo/kale scramble with tofu "eggie" patties, on a bagel with vegan chao cheese.

Snack - Fruit smoothie, frozen fruit, kale, water, oat milk, hemp seed protein, chia seeds, hemp seed hearts

Snack - Chickpea "not tuna" salad with triscuits, sliced apple

Dinner - Salad of some sort, pasta and probably more Gardein fishless filets

I hope you all have a great day!

Christina

Let it begin with me.
