Lily looks so happy! Kitties were super stressed at the vet but the recovered quickly with some extra food and brushing last night... He says they are healthy and it is behavioral, as suspected. He gave us a few tips and tricks but I'm not sure what the problem is--Innie is the most loved and doted on cat on earth, so it's hard to imagine where his anxiety or dissatisfaction is coming from to be able to fix it!
We have that problem with one of ours. It started happening when we got another cat (this was a few years ago). He and the other guy have long since been friends, but he got into the habit and never broke it. So he's been on Paxil for years. And we have to restrict where he can go in the house, because he tends to do it only in certain rooms (luckily, we have an old house with rooms that can be closed off). It's a huge pain, but it does do the trick - we rarely have issues with him marking anymore. Not that this is your cat's issue, but just saying I can relate. Hopefully it'll be resolvable.
btw - we had another cat do that about a week ago. It's the cat who pretty much lives in the master bedroom. His litterbox is in the back of my walk-in closet. We were surprised because he's NEVER had litterbox issues, and he's 15 years old. Then I remembered that I'd put a little wooden chair in my closet because we'd moved a TV into our room, so I no longer had room for the chair. It (the chair) was kind of close to his litterbox. So I moved the chair and...ta da! No more "accidents". I guess he didn't like the chair that close to his litterbox. Cats are strange critters...

Yeah he is a very particular cat, so I am sure it just must be a small thing that's bothering him, but I have no idea what!? It's so frustrating!
Such a pretty lady!!

Good morning! Boston schools are sure making the news today. Perhaps somewhat more intriguing than other individuals who were "speaking" last night...
Today we leave Savannah for Jacksonville FL with a stop at Tybee Island on the way. We will probably be at Mike's place by mid-afternoon tomorrow. I think I am ready. Almost two weeks of living out of a suitcase and driving every day is tiring eventually. We are staying at DSD's apartment tonight and I am packing things to send north to her (she is staying at my house on Cape Cod).
QOTD: Mike makes me laugh a lot in general as he can be a bit goofy at times and teases me all the time. Yesterday he couldn't remember how to spell Chihuahua on the registration at the hotel so he did it phonetically: Chawawa. LOL!

Whoa that first pic is stunning!
Grim and I were talking last night and saying that if the world is safe again, it would be fun to do a drive across the country together and stop for a day here and there to see the major sights. I wonder how long it would take to do it well?
