What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Hello and Welcome to Fridaaaaaaay! Phew, I am ready for this weekend. Yesterday was busy at work-- we were very busy dealing with schools moving to remote, of course... but then on top of everything else, one of the school committee members was caught on a live mic making fun of ethnic names, so he was forced to resign mid-day yesterday. It's amazing how many racist people are just lurking in plain sight. What an ass.
Nothing too exciting happening this weekend. We are planning to go visit our neighbors again and sit outside for dinner. I'm realizing that it might be the last time we can do it this season! That's our only firm plan, except for some more big house projects. We are getting things DONE. Woot! Last weekend our big project was buying and planting some new trees around the house. Here is my handsome guy with one of our pretty new friends :)
QOTD: Tell us something that has given you a good laugh lately! My coworker is basically straight out of central casting for any Boston based Ben Affleck movie. He is 30ish, lives in Southie, Irish, loves a good drink, works out like a maniac, and has that Boston accent. Anyway, he makes me laugh under any cir****tance, but the other day he was describing Fall as "Cozy Boy Season" and we couldn't stop laughing. So true, but coming from him was particularly priceless.
Not going to lie--I ate like a real jerk yesterday. I don't think I ate one thing that was on my menu. I didn't really eat "meals" I just grazed and munched on whatever I could find, like slices of cheese and handfuls of granola. Ridiculous. No idea what made me do that but I commit to sticking to my menu today!

Good morning and happy Friday! Just about 12 hours til the weekend!
Love your photo and new tree....knowing how tall Grim is, I think that tree is probably taller than I am!
QOTD - the other morning, I sent my boss an update about something I had "added lines to" and he responded back "cocaine?" It was funny because between the two of us, we're about as straight arrow as you can get.
The fires here are out of control, two of our key mountain towns had to evacuate -- Estes Park and Grand Lake; they are essentially on opposite ends of Rocky Mountain National Park; the East Troublesome fire grew by 100,00 acres Wednesday night and another 50,000 yesterday and is only 5% contained. 100K miles is the equivalent to 20 miles, which is a new thing I learned. They are very concerned it's going to merge with the Cameron Peak fire which has been burning since August, was only 66% contained but that they thought would be under control by end of month. There's only one route out of Estes Park, since people can't go via the park given it's on fire, and I heard that it was taking 90 minutes to go less than 2 miles. The snow that's supposed to start Sunday can come sooner and stay longer and I'd be thrilled. Also, I think that if the snow doesn't materialize the weather people may need to leave the state (and sadly, our weather people are wrong quite frequently).
menu today is

Everroast and slice cheddar
jalapeño-cheese RGF poppers
