What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Hi everyone. I literally can't remember if I posted yesterday, but I'm going to say that I did and just roll with it. I'm so glad its Wednesday. This week has kicked my ass so far. On the bright side, the Dodgers are 3 games away from the World Series title. JB, thanks for sending Mookie to us. I understand why he opted out, but I can't help but feel bad for David Price. Late for me today, but I drove a friend of mine to her first chemo treatment and we had to be there are 8. Unfortunately, because we're still under a lockdown in LA County, UCLA wouldn't let me in with her. So she's there by herself. She's a single mom and was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer with lymph involvement, so healing thoughts sent towards Los Angeles would be appreciated.

QOTD: Well a little of it. I don't have much to get this year, really just mom, Brother and SIL, but I did get my friend her World Series shirt so that will be her christmas gift.

My Plan:

B: I drove thru McDonalds and got a SF Vanilla latte on my way to pick up my friend. So that.

L: either turkey on a thin slice of rye bread or poke if I feel like going out

D: chicken with cauliflower rice

S: definitely something before parking lot spin (which I want to skip since it's at the same time as game two, but I must exercise)

Definitely sending healing thoughts her way. I'm so sorry! I missed a mammogram in May because of lockdown and I know I need to reschedule but I have been putting git off. This is the kick in the butt I needed, so you can tell her her story already helped someone :)

l will. I feel so bad. I had mine scheduled and she was going to the doctor because she felt a lump, but her primary thought it was an abscessed gland. I made her call her doctor back to insist she be sent for a mammogram. We were right. The tech who did the scan basically told her on the spot that it was bad. I know I shouldn't but I felt so bad when she asked me how my scan was and I had to tell her it was clear.

Wow scary stuff. Cancer runs strong on my mom's side of the family so I really need to be careful and diligent.

Today was definitely a downer- unrelenting rainy weather for the sixth ! day in a row... . Butt hurts .. I'm still limping and barely able to sit or bend down to pick up things.

B- Chai tea Latte SF FF

S- 'tastes " of fat free pumpkin cheesecake mix...put in to bake 3 hours at low heat

L- Penne Bolognese -red sauce, mushroom sauce, "butter" ( butter buds ) and "cream" (FF half n half) fresh carrots and mushrooms . FF Mozzarella melted on top.

Barbecued pork loin, fat removed in apricot /General Tso sauce

fresh broccoli in fat free Alfredo sauce made from mix , butter buds n half n half

D- FF SF homemade pumpkin cheesecake w ff sour. ream frosting

salad FF dressing, leftover broccoli Alfredo

one small bag jelly beans in bed
