I tried to watch it...and the actors were all amazing but I had NO IDEA WHAT WAS HAPPENING.....I finally gave up a few episodes ago. I do have the book and am going to try that and then maybe go back and watch the series again/fini****

I am not going to bother to pretend that I have an acceptable menu plan, LOL.
We have been in the Outer Banks NC for the last two days. So beautiful! I would love to come back and rent a house with family and/or friends. Today we go to Myrtle Beach for one day, then on to Charleston.
QOTD: On Cape Cod, clam chowder!!!

Ahh, you are on the vacation that I had planned in May that was COVID canceled! Have fun :)
We are only here for a night to break up the driving. Great view from our room though!

Mornin'!
I'm trying out a new Zoom exercise class this morning that I noticed on my gym's list of classes - Cardio Strength. I'll be checking out several this week since I'm going to have to start exercising indoors now that it's getting colder out. I hope I'll like some of them. I know there are lots of classes on youtube, too, but I'd like to find at least a couple my gym is doing to justify paying the monthly fee (it's pretty cheap - but still...). I have Mah Jongg from 10:00-noon and then a practice session for a Zoom presentation that a speaker is doing for my adult education organization next week (she's new to Zoom presenting - hopefully this will all go off without a hitch. The practice session this afternoon should help).
I'm up a pound this morning. Eating was OK over the weekend, in spite of take out at lunch yesterday (Indian food) - I'm guessing the Indian food had a lot of sodium in it. Anyway, pushing the fluids today to deal with it..
QOTD: we have a ton of coffee shops in this city due to it being a college town (45,000 students - so BIG college town) - but Wisconsin in general is famous for beer (esp microbrews nowadays), cheese, and bratwurst. Also, Friday night fish fries are ubiquitous in this state. Even some Chinese restaurants offer them!
TSS: 5y4m
B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and apple compote, coffee with half & half
MS: I may just have a homemade iced chai latte (made with Fairlife milk)
L: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with strawberry compote
AS: maybe protein Jello or L&F yogurt. An apple (or two...)
D: leftovers of some sort (we have a lot) - maybe Indian food from yesterday or a spicy beef/sweet potato stew that I made on Saturday
have a great day, everyone!

I have never heard of a Friday Night Fish Fry, so I googled! We have fish & chips everywhere here, because Boston is on the ocean, but I have never heard of it as an "event". Sounds fun :)
Hope you find some good classes to join through your gym. I am still paying my monthly fee for no reason other than that the reason that I have to go in person to cancel the membership and I just don't want to... So stupid.
