Aw, this makes me so sad for you. As someone who didn't have a very nurturing Mom and then lost my Mom at 21, I would seriously kill for something like this. Not to mention, who doesn't LOVE getting packages?! Someone could send me cleaning supplies and I'd be thrilled, LOL.

Sorry, I didn't mean for everybody to feel bad for me. Kids are good, but they are so used to me going out of my way to take care of them that they think everybody does the same way. Although I always include items for the roommates too. Never want anybody to feel left out.
So to prove me wrong, DD just sent me this text.

I had included 3 silly headbands for all the girls and she sent me a pic of her with the black one.

So now I'm good! On the other hand crickets from DS *****ceived the package yesterday. You win some you lose some.

Sheila - we just heard that our son's college is going all virtual after Thanksgiving. Kids will have the option of returning to dorms, but all learning and finals will be online.

That's so much safer. Did he have a lot of classes in person? This traveling back and forth for just 3-4 days is taking a chance that's not necessary if classes are all online.
For us it's been online 100%. We are waiting to hear if they close the dorms between thanksgiving and Xmas, that's what I am hoping for. SDSU is testing (COVID) them every two weeks.

Colorado School of Mines is about 50/50 live and virtual. Some things like chemistry lab really need to be live. They also test every two weeks.

Believe me I know! So many parents upset about all the labs being cancelled this semester. Especially seniors who need the credits to graduate.

So. Freakin'. Adorable.
