Disney is a good one--I agree that some of the outfits (and shoes) are very questionable for a kids theme park!

Enjoy Home Edit. You might want to watch when our hubby is not around--there is a lot of shrieking and squealing that, apparently (according to Grim), are not relatable sounds for men when they see closets. He is baffled by the whole thing, but I am obsessed.

100% agree about Disneyland. I'm baffled by the women in tall boots with stiletto heels. You can tell their miserable. There are some things I'll never understand it

Morning (barely!) from the beach! We are enjoying ourselves greatly by doing absolutely nothing over here. Some dips in the pool and hot tub, some sitting/walking on the beach, and alternating meal cooking in the evenings. My kids are still doing school as normal.

QOTD: I spent a lot of time on benches at the UNC campus. My favorite spot was the "The Pit" where the infamous pit preacher would often hang out and loudly preach about damnation. He is truly a terrible person, but luckily has mostly become a source of mocking and laughter (you can google UNC pit preacher to see what I'm talking about, he's been around forever).

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream xmany
  • Turkey, Cheese, Pepperoni roll ups
  • SEAFOOD BOIL - the night we've all been waiting for!

we had one of those at the Univ of Wisconsin at one time - YEARS ago - I'd forgotten about him. Yea - they mocked our guy, too. It seems like he was here for a year or two and then disappeared.

How is it not friday? For real. This week has felt like it's 3 months long. My poor puppy is teething like crazy and I know he hurts and is acting out because of it, but I've already had to take him off my kitchen table where he was trying to eat the curtain and rod. I love him but he may kill me. He finally fell asleep JB, I think you sent your cold to me, either that or I'm having a reaction to my flu shot. I have a sore throat and I'm stuffy. Though the weather has been unseasonably hot (90's) so it could be allergies. I have a court appearance at 1:30 and I may try for a covid test afterwards, just to be on the safe side.

QOTD: Either the Grove in LA or 3rd Street in Santa Monica. Amazing people watching. The Grove is connected to The Farmers Market, which has been there forever. The guy who owns the nut stand once told me how he sold peanut butter to the Beatles right at the start of their fame. When I was learning to drive, my father used to wake me up at 5:30 so I could learn to drive the freeway or canyons and we would go to farmers market for fresh donuts and coffee in little glass carafes. The year after he passed, we went to the cemetery on his birthday then went to Farmers Market for coffee and donuts in his honor. My brother got mad because I didn't get the carafe of coffee, but got a latte instead. "what about tradition?"

My Plan:

B: latte with fairlife

L: unknown. I have a court appearance at 1:30 so need to leave here around 12, so that kind of destroys lunch. I may pick up something on my way home

D: another unknown. I didn't make it to the market this week, and I think all I may have is steak, which I don't want

S: something before spin for sure. Probably and apple and a tbs of natural peanut butter

E: parking lot spin. It's throwback thursday which is my favorite ride of the week.

It was a beautiful thing to see. The looked tentative the first two games, but had a feeling, when they clawed their way back into game two, that they'd finally found their footing. They hadn't lost more than two games in a row all "season" so hopefully it was the turnaround they needed!

Stacy, try these for Logan's teething. Luna loves them. I keep buying them and she keeps chewing them. They have different sizes. You can even put them in the fridge/freezer to have them cold.

Thanks! He has those, but I didn't think to freeze them. His favorite is actually chewing on ice cubes. It's easy and inexpensive. But it's killing my wood floors and making the tile in the kitchen slippery. I can't wait for his teeth to fall out so we can get past this point!

I never had a dog, so this might not help. Can you get something from the vet to help with the teething pain?
